Recommended all-weather floor mats for a new Lincoln Navigator L?

I just got my Navigator L last week and I am honestly terrified to even step in it with my boots on. It has that really light colored interior which looked so amazing in the showroom but now that I have it in my driveway in snowy Chicago I realize I might have made a huge mistake lol. I really need to protect the floors but I have no idea where to start or if they even make specific ones for the L version since it is so much longer than the regular one.

So I was thinking I need those heavy duty rubber mats but my logic was that the dealership would have the best ones but they quoted me some crazy price like nearly 600 dollars including the cargo area and that just seems like way too much for what is basically just pieces of plastic? But then I looked on some random site and they were way cheaper but people in the reviews said they smelled like chemicals and didnt fit right. I really dont want my brand new car smelling like a tire factory or having mats that slide around under the pedals because that seems dangerous.

I guess my main confusion is about the second and third row because my car has those captain chairs and a console in the middle and I dont know if the mats go under the seats or just around them? I saw a brand called WeatherTech mentioned a lot but then someone else said TuxMat is better for luxury cars because they look less like work truck mats and more like part of the car? I just want something that looks nice but can actually hold a spilled juice box or some slush from my boots without it soaking into the edges.

I am trying to stay under like 350 for the whole set if possible because the car payment is already killing me haha. I really need to get them before the next big storm hits next week. Does it matter if I get the ones from the factory or are the after market ones actually better for the long wheelbase version? Sorry if this is a basic question I just dont want to mess up my nice new truck...

Unfortunately, I've found TuxMats hard to scrub. For Chicago salt, I suggest Husky Liners WeatherBeater Lincoln Navigator L instead.

  • Better liquid containment
  • Stays soft in freezing cold

I remember when I brought home my first big SUV with that creamy light interior... I felt the exact same way. One slushy grocery run and I was already panicking about the salt stains. I actually tried to save a few bucks on my last truck with some generic trim-to-fit mats from a big box store. Honestly, be careful with those. One time a mat slid right under my brake pedal while I was coming off the highway and it was honestly the scariest five seconds of my life. You really want to make sure whatever you get has the proper locking posts. I would suggest double-checking your middle row layout before you hit buy though. Are you dealing with the full fixed console between those captain chairs or is it just the open walk-through style? Also, are you looking for something that covers every inch of carpet up the side walls, or just something heavy-duty to catch the liquid at the bottom?
