Best trunk mats for Mercedes EQC cargo space?

I’m looking for a durable trunk mat for my EQC to protect the carpet from grocery spills and damp sports gear. I’m stuck between the official Mercedes liner and some all-weather WeatherTech options. Does the OEM one fit perfectly around the side cubbies, or is there a better non-slip aftermarket version? What are you all using to keep your cargo space clean?

Honestly, since you're worried about safety and gear sliding around, I've tried many and would suggest the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Mercedes-Benz EQC. In my experience, the grip is way better than the OEM one, which is basically a slip-and-slide for groceries, right?

* **Safety:** The high-lip design is a lifesaver for liquid spills.
* **Material:** It's a specialized TPE that stays flexible but doesn't feel flimsy.

I mean, if you want total peace of mind, it's the best bet for keeping stuff secure!!

Quick question - before I dive into the technical specs, are you looking for a tray with high walls to contain major liquid spills, or just something to stop muddy gear from ruining the carpet?

I honestly had a pretty disappointing experience with the official Mercedes option. While it fits the side cubbies perfectly, the material is way too slick. I actually had a grocery bag slide so hard it cracked a plastic trim piece... super annoying tbh. Plus, it's not as rugged as you'd expect for the price. If you want something with actual grip and better tech specs, check these out:

* WeatherTech CargoLiner for Mercedes-Benz EQC - This is basically the gold standard for laser-measured fit. It has a high lip that's a lifesaver for damp sports gear, though it can feel a bit industrial.
* TuxMat Cargo Mat for Mercedes EQC - I highkey prefer this one lately. It looks way more premium than the WeatherTech but still offers 100% waterproof protection and has a much better non-slip texture.
* 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Cargo Liner for EQC - This one is reallyyy cool because it has a patented "Maxpider" backing that literally locks onto the carpet so the mat itself never shifts.

But yeah, definitely let me know about the spill height thing cuz some of these have much deeper channels than others. gl!

Seconding the recommendation above! The official liner is pricey, honestly. If ur on a budget, I've used the Mixsuper All Weather TPE Cargo Mat for Mercedes EQC and it's basically half the price of OEM.

* Cost: Usually around $60-80
* Fit: Nearly perfect around the cubbies
* Clean up: Just hose it off

It's way more grippy than the Mercedes one so groceries don't slide. Plus, you save like $100. gl!

Honestly, I was in the same boat when I first got my EQC. I ended up going with the Mercedes-Benz EQC Genuine Luggage Compartment Liner and it fits perfectly around those tricky side cubbies. It's high-quality, but honestly, it can be a bit slippery if you're hauling groceries. If you want something more rugged, the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Mercedes-Benz EQC is awesome for damp sports gear. It's basically indestructible, though it costs a bit more. I'd personally stick with OEM for the fit unless you're always hauling muddy gear!! gl!
