I’m loving my new EQE, but the center console and door pockets are basically just giant open pits! I'm struggling to keep my sunglasses and charging cables from sliding around. Has anyone found a good center console tray or glovebox divider that actually fits the 2023/2024 model? I'm looking for something high-quality that matches the interior aesthetic—what are your go-to storage upgrades?

Similar situation here - honestly, when I first drove my EQE home, I thought I was missing parts of the interior because of those massive open gaps lol. It's basically a black hole for anything smaller than a tablet! I spent weeks trying to figure out a setup that didn't rattle or look like cheap plastic against that nice trim. I actually went through a few different options before finding something that felt right for the techy vibe of the car.

Sooo, just sharing my experience: skip the generic stuff. I found that most "universal" organizers just slide around during even moderate cornering cuz the EQE has such a smooth but torquey pull. I ended up trying a few things and found that the Muslogy for Mercedes Benz EQE Sedan Center Console Organizer Tray actually has a decent rubber lining that keeps my keys from jingling, which was driving me insane.

One quick tip: be careful with the deep under-console area. It's *huge* but basically unusable without a dedicated bin. I messed around with a few and found the KIMBOM Center Console Lower Storage Box for Mercedes EQE fits the dimensions well without blocking the charging ports. Also, if you're like me and hate cables everywhere, I'd suggest looking into a short 90-degree USB-C cable. It makes the tray setup way cleaner. Anyway, it definitely takes some trial and error to get it perfect, but hang in there... it's worth it once everything has a spot! gl!

Seconding the recommendation above. Honestly, these bins aren't just messy, they're a safety risk because loose items become projectiles during hard braking or distract you while driving. Basically, you need gear with high-friction coefficients. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I heard a company is testing weighted silicone inserts for the 2024 model to stop that sliding... IIRC they focus on grip specs. Definitely prioritize safety over just aesthetics! 👍

Basically, those cavernous bins are a huge waste of space without some help! For your situation, I suggest:

1. Use rubberized non-slip liners to keep gear from rattling.
2. Grab a generic armrest tray—they're cheap and a lifesaver.
3. Try a felt-lined divider to protect your sunglasses.

Definitely saves money over OEM stuff!

yo, i feel u on this. the interior is gorgeous but honestly, it's *literally* just a cavern in there... i struggled with the same thing when i first got mine. i would suggest looking at the Shaohao 2023 2024 Mercedes EQE Sedan Center Console Organizer Tray for the armrest—it fits like a glove and actually gives you a spot for coins and sunglasses. also, for the lower dash area, the JKCOVER Center Console Hanging Storage Box for EQE is a total lifesaver for cables. gl!

I've been driving Benzes for decades and honestly the storage in the EQE is such a letdown compared to the old E-Class days. I remember when every pocket was lined with high-quality felt... now it's just giant plastic pits. I tried some no-name bins from a random site a while back and the fit was terrible. They rattled every time I hit a bump and looked so cheap against the luxury trim. It actually felt like I was cheapening a six-figure car with five-dollar plastic. If you're gonna go the aftermarket route, just look for anything from Musology or maybe Salusy. You basically can't go wrong with those two brands compared to the generic junk, tho even they aren't as good as I expected. I had issues with the rubber mats sliding around in the tray, which was super annoying during cornering. Just look for the ones that claim to have better grip. TL;DR: Stick with Musology or Salusy for better material quality, but don't expect a perfect factory-level fit.

Ugh, honestly... I am in the exact same boat as you and it is so frustrating. I have had my EQE for nearly four months now and I still havent found a single solution that actually looks like it belongs in a Mercedes.

  • I even tried a DIY approach using some leftover acoustic foam and felt to build my own dividers but it just looked cheap next to the dash.
  • It is basically a black hole under there and I am constantly fishing for my wallet or phone while I am trying to drive.
  • I am really disappointed that we have to deal with this at all... it feels like such a huge oversight for a luxury interior. Hopefully someone else has better luck than we do because I am about at my wits end with this mess!
