I just picked up a Mercedes GLA and want to keep it protected. I’m looking for a dash cam that won't clutter the sleek interior or interfere with the driver assistance sensors near the mirror. Does anyone have recommendations for a model with a clean, OEM-like fit that handles 4K recording well?

Ok so, I've spent a lot of time looking into this cuz I'm super paranoid about the ADAS sensors near the rearview mirror. Basically, those sensors are the "brain" for your braking and lane keeping, so you gotta be careful about what you stick up there. Honestly, if you want that clean 4K look without the clutter, I would suggest looking at Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam for Mercedes-Benz GLA H247.

It's basically an integrated housing that replaces the plastic cover behind your mirror. It looks totally OEM and taps into the rain sensor power, so no wires hanging down to the fuse box. Just be careful with the install—if you aren't comfortable popping trim pieces, maybe get a pro to help so you dont snap a clip. Another solid but more "traditional" option is the VIOFO A229 Pro 4K Dash Cam with 256GB microSDXC Card. It uses a Sony Starvis 2 sensor which is seriouslyyy good for night driving, tho it's a bit more visible than the Fitcamx. gl!

TL;DR from this thread: Everyone's basically saying you gotta protect those ADAS sensors near the mirror while keeping it looking OEM. To summarize, the previous guys covered the high-end stuff, but if you wanna save some cash, check out the VIOFO A119 Mini 2 Dash Cam with Sony STARVIS 2 Sensor. It's super tiny, handles 4K-like quality really well, and fits right behind the mirror so it wont clutter your GLA's dash. Plus, pairing it with a SanDisk 256GB High Endurance microSDXC Card is a solid way to keep costs down while still getting that pro-level protection you're after. Honestly, I'm sooo happy with how discreet it is for the price. Hope that helps!!

Ok so I've been driving Benzes for over a decade now and honestly, I had the exact same worry when I got my GLA!! You definitely dont want some bulky thing ruining that clean dash or messing with the ADAS sensors. For your situation, I would suggest looking at the Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam for Mercedes-Benz GLA H247. I've had mine for two years and it literally looks like it came from the factory... it just replaces the plastic cover behind the rearview mirror!

Here is why I love it:
- **OEM Look**: No wires hanging everywhere, basically invisible from the outside.
- **4K Quality**: The video is actually super crisp, even at night.
- **Easy Install**: Plug and play with the rain sensor, so no fuse box headache.

Seriously, its amazing how well it blends in. Just make sure you grab a high-quality SanDisk 128GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card so you dont get any recording errors. Hope this helps and enjoy the new ride, its a blast to drive! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, comparing market specs, the Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam for Mercedes-Benz GLA H247 is the gold standard for that OEM look cuz it literally replaces the mirror cover. It wont mess with your ADAS sensors at all!! 👍
