Recently installed WeatherTech Floor Mats on my Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The features are useful, designed well for mercedes-benz g-class. Overall very satisfied.

Saw this earlier and wanted to jump in since I've tried a few different setups over the years. Basically, looking at the consensus so far: * Most of the guys here are pointing you toward heavy-duty molded protection, which makes sense for this car, though we had a couple of random detours into dashcams and phone mounts lol.
* Tbh, I learned the hard way with my own rig. I originally went with these super thick, custom-tailored plush carpets because I wanted that "luxury" vibe. Wait no... that was a HUGE mistake. One rainy weekend and they were basically ruined and smelled like a damp basement.
* My current setup is way more functional. I found that having something with a high "lip" or deep ridges around the edge is SO important because these trucks have such a flat floor layout. Without those edges, snow or mud just slides everywhere and hits the actual car carpet. Honestly, dont overthink the brand names too much. Just make sure whatever you get is easy to hose off in the driveway. It pretty much saves your sanity if you actually use the G-Class for more than just grocery runs.

Totally agree about staying away from those plush carpets, honestly its just asking for mold and smells if you live anywhere with actual weather. I spent way too much time looking at the technical specs for my G550 and basically realized that because of the boxy interior, you need way better vertical coverage than what standard mats give you. Here is what I found works best based on my own trial and error:

• TuxMat Floor Mats are hands down the best for total coverage. They have a higher vertical lip that covers almost all the exposed carpet on the sides of the footwell.
• Lloyd Mats Northridge are a solid choice if you want something that feels more like heavy-duty rubber. They have these small wells that hold a surprising amount of water without it sloshing around.
• Always check the material specs for TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). Its more flexible than the standard HDPE liners and handles temperature swings way better so they wont warp over time lol. Its a bit of a process to get the TuxMats clipped in right but the fitment is basically 10/10 once you finish.

Chose WeatherTech Floor Mats for my Mercedes-Benz G-Class. It's well-built, compatible with mercedes-benz g-class without any issues. Worth every penny.
