Hey everyone! I just recently joined the Outlander PHEV family and I’m absolutely loving the drive so far. However, I’ve noticed that the interior, especially that beautiful piano black trim around the center console, seems like a total magnet for fingerprints and tiny scratches. I’m a bit of a stickler for keeping my cars looking brand new, so I’m really curious to see what you guys recommend for protection.
I’m also looking for a solid cargo liner. Since the PHEV battery layout can sometimes make the floor height feel a bit different than the standard gas model, I want something that fits perfectly to protect the carpet from muddy gear and groceries. Additionally, does anyone have a go-to solution for organizing charging cables in the front? They always seem to get tangled up near the wireless charging pad and it's driving me a little crazy!
I’ve looked at some generic options online, but I’d much rather get recommendations for accessories specifically designed for the Outlander’s unique layout. I'm willing to invest a bit more for high-quality items that look like they came from the factory. What are the absolute must-have interior accessories you’ve added to your PHEV to keep it organized and looking sharp?
Ok so, i've found the laser-measured WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV fits the floor perfectly. Also, the Sinjimoru Magnetic Cable Holder basically solves that messy cable clutter issue.
Been using this for years, no complaints
yo, congrats on the new ride!! i totally get the struggle... that piano black is literally a fingerprint magnet. i've spent way too much time obsessing over this on my own 23 PHEV so here is the lowdown on what actually works.
TL;DR: skip the generic stuff. grab a matte plastic console cover, the OEM cargo tray for the best fit, and a tiered center organizer to hide the cable mess.
For the console trim, you basically have two paths. Option A is doing a DIY wrap with Xpel Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film. it looks amazing but honestly, it is such a pain to install without bubbles. Option B, which i actually recommend, is getting the Jaronx Center Console Cover for Mitsubishi Outlander 2022-2024. it is a hard shell that snaps on. i went with the matte black version and it highkey looks better than the shiny factory plastic imo. way easier to keep clean.
About the cargo floor... yeah, the PHEV battery makes the layout slightly different than the gas model. Option A is the WeatherTech CargoLiner for 2023-2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. it's super durable but kinda looks like a truck bed. Option B is the Mitsubishi Genuine Accessories Cargo Tray MZ315053. i chose this one because it has the Outlander logo and fits the floor transitions perfectly without sliding around. worth the extra few bucks for that factory look.
For the cable chaos, i used the Seven Sparta Center Console Organizer Tray for 2022-2024 Outlander. it creates a second level so you can hide the excess wire underneath. combine that with some Anker PowerLine II 3-in-1 Cable 1ft short cables and the mess basically disappears! hope that helps... peace!
Seconding the recommendation above! Grab the Spigen Glas.tR Slim Tempered Glass Screen Protector for safety—it cuts glare and prevents impact cracks. Also, the Anker PowerLine II 3-in-1 Cable prevents snagging hazards near the shifter. gl
Just wanted to say thanks for everyone chiming in. Super helpful discussion.
