I’ve been loving my Taycan, but I’m really struggling to find a phone mount that doesn't ruin the sleek interior aesthetic. Since the dashboard is mostly screens and the air vents have that unique electronic adjustment, I’m hesitant to use a standard clip-on mount. I've looked at some MagSafe options that attach to the center console, but I’m worried about them blocking the climate controls or interfering with the cupholders. Does anyone have a setup that looks OEM and stays secure during spirited driving? I’m specifically looking for something that doesn't require permanent adhesive on the leather. What’s the most seamless mounting solution you’ve found for your Taycan?

Seconding the recommendation above. I'm always worried about safety and blocking the screen too, honestly. I've been looking at the Kuda Phone Base Porsche Taycan 2020-2024 mount. It's kinda pricey but keeps the phone lower so it doesn't distract you or fly off during launches. Plus, it basically looks OEM and doesn't use those nasty adhesives. Safety first, right??

oh man, I totally feel u on this. honestly, when I first picked up my Taycan, I spent literally weeks obsessing over where to put my phone cuz I didn't want to ruin that gorgeous dash with some cheap plastic clip. I tried a few vent mounts at first but they felt super sketchy with those electronic fins, and I was highkey terrified of snapping something inside. repairing these cars is NOT cheap, so I’m always pretty cautious about where I’m putting pressure.

I eventually settled on a setup that clips directly onto the side of the center console trim. It basically wedges into the gap without any permanent adhesive or tape, which was a huge win for me since I didn't want to mess up the leather. It’s been rock solid even during spirited driving... and we all know how easy it is to get carried away with that instant torque haha.

My current setup stays clear of the climate screen and doesn't block the cupholders at all, which was my biggest worry. I guess my main advice is to avoid anything that uses glue—it's just not worth the risk to the interior. Tbh, finding something that grips the frame of the console is the only way to get that OEM look without the headache. It works great and keeps everything looking clean!! gl with the search!

Ok so, I've tried many setups over the years, and honestly, I'm always super cautious about sticking anything to that expensive leather. For your situation, I'd suggest looking at two specific paths that are low-risk for your budget.

Option A is the A-Z-P Porsche Taycan MagSafe Phone Mount which clips onto the side of the console. It's solid, but I'm always a bit worried about long-term pressure marks. Option B, which is my personal pick for value, is the ProClip Center Mount 855618 combined with a MagSafe head. It's literally designed to snap into the seams without any tape or drilling.

In my experience, the ProClip is better because it feels more secure during 'spirited' driving, and it doesn't block the screen as much. It's kinda pricey for plastic, but cheaper than repairing a damaged vent or leather panel tbh! Just be careful during the install... you don't wanna scratch the trim!! ngl it takes a bit of force to pop in. gl!

So basically the consensus is that while the Kuda Phone Base Porsche Taycan 2020-2024 and A-Z-P Porsche Taycan MagSafe Phone Mount are the go-to market leaders, you gotta watch out for ergonomic trade-offs... honestly, it's a battle between screen visibility and that OEM look! Quick tip: go with a mount that utilizes the center console's side trim gap to avoid permanent adhesive damage on ur leather. It’s definitely the safest bet for long-term resale value, right?
