What are the must-have interior accessories for a new Porsche Taycan?

So I finally pulled the trigger on a Taycan 4S and picked it up from the dealer in Bellevue last week. Ive been driving Porsches for over a decade—had a 991.2 and a Macan before this—so I thought I knew exactly what to expect with the interior. But man, this thing is a whole different beast with all the touchscreens. Its only been four days and the piano black trim and the lower haptic screen are already covered in smudges and it’s driving my OCD absolutely crazy.

I already ordered some clear matte screen protectors but I’m looking for what else you guys are actually using day-to-day. The center console storage is also way smaller and more shallow than my Macan was so my usual stuff is just sliding around everywhere. I’m thinking about those inserts or maybe some specific liners? Also what are people doing for floor mats if you live in a rainy climate like the PNW because the factory carpets feel way too nice to ruin with mud.

Budget isnt really a huge deal since I want stuff that actually fits the build quality of the car but I dont want to just buy every random thing on Amazon. Are there any specific brands that specialize in Taycan-specific interior mods that dont look cheap? Trying to get this sorted before my road trip down to Oregon next month. What are the absolute essentials I’m missing here?

I almost ruined my floors during last years storms. You might want to consider:

HaikuHeart is right about checking aftermarket stuff first... Porsche prices for basic accessories are honestly kinda wild, even for a Taycan owner lol. I think I heard somewhere that the official Porsche mats for the PNW weather are basically just rebranded versions of the cheaper stuff anyway, though dont quote me on that. If you're worried about the storage situation, you might want to consider:

  • Silicone tray inserts for the center console to stop the sliding
  • A simple microfiber towel tucked in the door pocket for the screen smudges
  • Felt liners for the door pockets to stop items from rattling I think some people mentioned that 3D printed options for the console are better fits than the mass-produced ones, but make sure to check the reviews. Not sure if those are still easy to find though... honestly it is a bit of a rabbit hole once you start looking. One thing tho, be careful with those matte screen protectors because IIRC some can mess with the clarity of the haptic screen if they are too thick. Just something to watch out for.

Love my 4S, its a beast and I'm very satisfied with the cabin. Are you looking for official Porsche gear or open to premium aftermarket stuff for better organization?
