Since this truck has that unique range-extender setup, I want to make sure I protect the bed without losing easy access. I’m specifically looking for something that works well with the RamBox cargo system if mine comes equipped with it. I’ve been debating between a low-profile hard folding cover for security or a high-quality retractable one for convenience, but I’m worried about bed space. Not to disagree, but I've had a totally different experience with foldables and bed space!! If you're really worried about losing room in that Ramcharger, I'd actually suggest a different approach and go with a heavy-duty soft roller instead. Honestly, even the best hard covers like the BAK take up a ton of room when folded. For the RamBox, I'd seriously look at the TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Cover. It's super low profile, keeps things dry, and basically disappears when you roll it up so you get every inch of that bed back. Plus, it's way easier on the wallet than a Retrax tho! gl!!
