Must-have interior accessories for the new Ram ProMaster EV?

Ive been driving ProMasters for like a decade now, mostly the 2500 gas models for my HVAC business here in Philly, but I finally pulled the trigger on the new EV version last week. Its a different beast for sure. The regenerative braking is taking some getting used to but whats really throwing me off is the interior layout differences. Some of my old shelving units from the 2019 model dont seem to line up quite right because of where the battery packs are positioned under the floor, or maybe Im just overthinking it.

Ive got about 1500 bucks left in the budget to get the cabin and the immediate cargo area sorted before I put it on the road full-time on the 1st. I noticed the dash has some new spots but the plastic feels a bit thinner? I really need a solid phone or tablet mount that wont shake since the ride is so quiet now you hear every single rattle. Also looking for floor mats that actually fit the EV trim since the floor hump is slightly different than my old gas van. Has anyone found a good center console organizer or specific storage bins that fit the weird gaps in the new electric model? What are you guys putting in these to make them actually livable for an 8-hour shift...

Man I love my EV! I use the RAM Mounts X-Grip Large Phone Holder and it never shakes. My old one rattled like crazy but this thing is seriously life changing!

Saw this a few hours ago but finally getting a second to type. > I noticed the dash has some new spots but the plastic feels a bit thinner? Tbh you arent crazy... the new dash feels way more flimsy than the old 2500s. Since theres no engine noise to drown it out, you gotta be careful with any mounting hardware. I would suggest staying away from anything that just sticks on. I struggled with a generic mount for weeks before realizing the vibration was coming from the dash panel itself moving, not the mount. I switched to the ProClip Center Mount 855018 for Ram ProMaster which clips into the dash gaps and it stays put. Also, watch out for the floor mats. I tried to force my old ones in and they kept bunching up near the accelerator. I finally caved and bought the WeatherTech FloorLiner 441011 Front Row Floor Mat specifically for the newer models. They catch all the Philly slush way better than the stock ones anyway.

Are you looking for steel shelving or budget plastic bins to save cash?

  • Heavy tools
  • Small parts My uncle did HVAC in Philly for years... parking there was his nightmare. Anyway.
