I've been scouring the forums for days and it's honestly driving me crazy trying to find stuff that actually fits the RHO. Like I saw some guys saying the TRX air intake works but then others are yelling that the Hurricane engine setup is totally different and it wont bolt up right. My logic was to just get the Mopar performance intake but it's backordered everywhere near Denver and I really wanted this sorted before our mountain trip next month. I've got about $2k to blow on this first round of upgrades but I'm stuck between waiting for official stuff or risking some universal bits that might not even work with the twin turbos. Is there anything actually confirmed out yet...

Unfortunately, TRX intake geometry fails the Hurricane because the plenum and turbo routing are incompatible. Try this specific unit:

I totally get the frustration with the backordered Mopar stuff! That same thing happened to me last week right before a big trip, but I ended up going a different route that actually saved me a ton of cash. My RHO felt a bit sluggish in the low end with those twin turbos so I grabbed a few things that made a massive difference right away. Honestly, you dont need to spend the full 2k to get that amazing wow factor before your trip!

  • Pedal Commander PC31 for Ram 1500
  • This thing is fantastic for getting rid of that tiny bit of turbo lag.
  • Pulsar XT for 2025 Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane
  • This adds some serious pep and lets you adjust things on the fly! The pedal controller install took like ten minutes in my driveway and it was awesome for passing power on the highway. Love how it feels now! Since you are heading to the mountains, having that instant throttle response makes the steep climbs way more fun... ngl it feels like a totally different truck.

TLDR: TRX parts wont fit. I spent hours trying to force the one I got onto mine but it wouldnt clear the turbo lines... Honestly a massive letdown.
