Best trunk organizer for Rivian R1S cargo area?

I recently took delivery of my R1S and I’m absolutely loving the space, but the cargo area is so massive that everything just slides around whenever I take a turn or hit the regenerative braking. I really want to keep the back looking clean and organized, especially since I use it for everything from grocery runs to hauling camping gear on the weekends.

I’ve been looking at a few generic options on Amazon, but I’m worried about the fit. Ideally, I’d love something that fits snugly against the side walls or even something that works well with the sub-trunk space if possible. I'm looking for a high-quality build that matches the Rivian’s premium interior—nothing that looks cheap or flimsy. It would be a huge plus if it has adjustable dividers and some sort of non-slip bottom so it stays put on the floor mat.

Has anyone found a specific brand or model that feels like it was custom-made for the R1S dimensions? I’d love to hear what you’re using and if it still allows easy access to the lower storage compartment.

Just sharing my experience: I'm a stickler for safety, so the thought of heavy gear flying forward during a sudden regen stop really worried me. Over the years, I've seen how dangerous loose items can be. To keep things secured, I ended up using the R-Zilla Rivian R1S Sub-Trunk Organizer Bin Set. It fits perfectly in that deep well, keeping the heavy stuff low and locked down. But for the main floor, I actually use the Canvasback Rivian R1S Cargo Liner with their side pieces. It adds a bit of texture that keeps my bags from sliding like they're on ice!

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, I've spent years obsessing over cargo management in my SUVs, and the R1S is a unique beast because of that deep sub-trunk.

I started out using generic crates, but they shifted way too much during regen braking... it drove me nuts. After some trial and error, I found that the KULULU Trunk Organizer for Rivian R1S is a game-changer. It’s built with a much sturdier structure than the cheap Amazon stuff, and the non-slip bottom actually grips the Rivian floor mats surprisingly well.

One technical tip: if you want to keep access to the lower compartment, I've found that using two of the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer Adjustable 3 Compartments side-by-side works better than one giant unit. You can slide one over to lift the floor hatch without having to unload everything.

**TL;DR:** Go with the KULULU Trunk Organizer for Rivian R1S for a custom-fit feel, or use two smaller modular units to maintain easy sub-trunk access.

Hey! I totally get the struggle—that R1S cargo area is basically a skating rink for groceries. For your situation, I've tried a couple of setups and settled on two that actually feel premium.

1. BestEvMod Rivian R1S Trunk Organizer: This one is great because it's specifically designed for the R1S. It fits like a glove and the build quality is solid. It doesn't look like a cheap bin, which I really appreciate given the interior quality.

2. StarryBay Collapsible Cargo Organizer with Non-Slip Bottom: This is my go-to for heavier gear. It’s got super strong dividers and a non-slip base that actually stays put during regen braking.

Honestly, I prefer the BestEvMod because it leaves easy access to the sub-trunk. It’s a bit pricier, but worth it for the fit. Anyway, back to your question—both options keep things from sliding around perfectly. Hope this helps!

For your situation, I'd honestly suggest looking at the Starling Solutions R1S Cargo Blocks. They're a bit more budget-friendly than full-sized organizers and super effective at stopping the 'skating rink' effect. I'm a pretty cautious driver, but regen braking still sends things flying! These blocks just grip the carpet and stay put. FWIW, they're much safer for heavy gear than flimsy bins. Good luck with the new ride!
