Which floor mats and seat covers are the best fit for the R1T Quad? I thought the interior was identical to the dual but my current liners are bunching up near the pedals and its driving me crazy. Im in Denver and need something that handles mud and slush for a trip next Friday. My budget is like $450 total.

Like someone mentioned, that pedal clearance is no joke and unfortunately most big brands just didn't live up to the hype for me. I wasted way too much money on liners that slipped around during the slushy season here in Denver. If you're trying to stay under that $450 limit and actually want stuff that won't slide into your pedals, I had to pivot.

  • LinerX Rivian R1T All-Weather Floor Mats - these have higher walls for snow melt and actually lock into the floor.
  • Oasis Auto Custom Fit Faux Leather Seat Covers - solid protection without the custom shop price tag. I was honestly pretty disappointed with how the expensive liners fit the quad-motor floor pan. The LinerX set is cheaper and actually stays put... just make sure those clips are fully seated or you'll have the same sliding issue again. Safety is the main thing though, especially with the mud coming next week.

@Reply #1 - good point! Safety is key but in my experience, the bunching comes from using generic liners. I've tried many over the years and 3D MAXpider Kagu All-Weather Floor Mats fit the R1T way better than WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit because they actually grip the carpet. Pair them with Rough Country Neoprene Seat Covers and you're well under $450. They wont budge in that Denver slush.

Man I totally love the R1T but that pedal clearance is actually super precise! I had a nightmare scenario last year driving up near Red Rocks when my old liners started sliding and actually caught the edge of the brake pedal... it was terrifying. Seriously dangerous stuff. You gotta be super careful with the fitment because even a few millimeters of shift can interfere with the sensors. Technical specs really matter here! A lot of these liners use a lower-density TPE that warps when the cabin heater hits it, which is probably why yours are bunching up in that Denver cold. Honestly dont even think about using those generic trim-to-fit ones tho. They lack the high-friction backing needed for the Rivian floor texture. Total safety hazard! You need something laser-scanned that locks into the floor pins properly or you're gonna have a bad time in the slush.

I agree, the pedal gap is extremely tight. Make sure any liner you get actually clicks into the factory anchors. Be careful though:

  • plastic clips snap in the cold
  • moisture seeps under if they arent flush Reminds me of when my charging port froze last winter. I ended up talking to a tech about thermal expansion for way too long. Anyway lol, sorry kinda went off topic there.
