I just took delivery of my Model X Plaid and love it, but that deep center console is basically a black hole. I’m looking for high-quality, flocked organizers that match the premium interior—nothing cheap-looking. Ideally, I need a sliding tray and something with a dedicated spot for my sunglasses. Which brands offer the best fit and finish?

id suggest the Spigen Center Console Organizer Tray for Tesla Model X Plaid. it's flocked and fits well, but just make sure to slide it gently so you dont scratch the interior... i think?

This^ Also wanted to add, that black hole is literally the worst part of the interior lol. If you're looking for value, I've tried many and honestly, the KIMBOM Center Console Organizer for Tesla Model X 2021-2024 is a solid win. It's got thick flocking that matches the OEM look perfectly but costs way less than "premium" brands. It has the dedicated sunglass spot you need and the fit is precise enough that it doesn't rattle. gl!

Saw ur post earlier but just now responding. Honestly, the refresh Model X center console is a technical mess if you actually need to find ur keys or glasses without digging around. That "black hole" design is real and basically disappointing for a car at this price point. I've seen way too many owners just throw things in there, which leads to scratches on the interior finish.

Here's why the material choice matters: generic trays usually use cheap plastics that dont handle cabin heat well. If the flocking is low-quality, it starts shedding fibers into ur gear, and if the fit isn't 100% precise, the tray will rattle every time you launch that Plaid... which is literally the last thing you want in a silent EV. You need high-density ABS with OEM-grade flocking to maintain that premium feel.

For your situation, here's what I recommend:
- Basenor Tesla Model X Refresh Center Console Organizer Tray - This is a solid pick cuz it's a sliding design that doesnt interfere with the deeper storage space. It has a dedicated spot that works for most sunglasses.
- Topfit Center Console Organizer for Tesla Model X - This one feels a bit more "premium" in the hand. The flocking is thick and matches the factory felt pretty well, so it looks lowkey like it came from the factory.

One thing tho: be super cautious when sliding these trays. If any grit gets under the lip, it'll scratch the side plastic of your console. I mean... I'd definitely suggest wiping the tracks down with a microfiber before dropping it in. Gl!

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, that "black hole" isn't just annoying, it's lowkey a safety issue if you're digging around for your shades at 70mph. I've been in the Tesla ecosystem for years and I've learned the hard way that fitment is EVERYTHING. If a tray is even a millimeter off, it'll rattle like crazy and drive you nuts.

Since you've got a Plaid, you probably want something that stays put when you're pinning it... lol. Here's a quick comparison of the premium options:

1. JOWUA Center Console Organizer with Sunglasses Holder for Tesla Model X Refresh
- **Pros:** The flocking is seriously premium—feels just like the factory lining. It has a specific silicone spot for sunglasses so they don't get scratched or slide around.
- **Cons:** It's definitely pricier than the generic brands.
- **Safety Note:** It's super stable. I've seen cheaper ones slide back and get stuck during hard acceleration, but this one stays put.

2. BestEvMod Center Console Organizer Tray for Tesla Model X 2021-2024
- **Pros:** Great value and the sliding mechanism is surprisingly smooth. I've used their gear for a while and it's reliable.
- **Cons:** The flocking is a tiny bit thinner than Jowua's, so it might show wear after a year or two of heavy use.

**Best Choice:** If you want that OEM look, go with Jowua. It matches the Plaid's interior way better and the sunglass spot is actually functional. Just make sure to clear out any debris from the tracks first so it doesn't jam up!!

gl with the new ride! 👍

^ This. Also, honestly its ridiculous that we even have to deal with this after dropping six figures on a car. Been driving Teslas for years and the interior storage has always been an afterthought, but the Plaid is on another level of frustration.

  • The black hole design is such a scam for a premium vehicle... it basically forces us to buy aftermarket stuff just to make the car functional.
  • Im always cautious when Im launching because everything just flies to the back of that cavernous pit if you dont have it secured.
  • You would think for 100k they could include a basic tray instead of making us hunt for something that doesnt look like cheap garbage.
  • Be careful with whatever you find because most of these companies just pump out low-quality plastic that rattles the second you hit the accelerator. Honestly, it just drives me crazy that the performance is so world-class but the basic cabin organization is a total mess. Its like they just dont care about the details anymore.
