so I just got the Highland model and honestly I'm so overwhelmed with all the tech. my logic was to get floor mats first cuz it rains a lot here in Seattle but there are literally thousands of options and I dont get the difference. sorry if this is dumb but what are the actual must haves? I only have $200 left...

Regarding what #2 said about the sliding hazard, seriously dont overlook that! I had a close call once and now I am super picky about fit. Since you are in Seattle and on a budget, I have tested a couple that actually work without breaking the bank.

> my logic was to get floor mats first cuz it rains a lot here in Seattle Honestly, youre right to prioritize mats for the rain. I've been really satisfied with 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats Tesla Model 3 2024 Highland because they dont slide around, which is a big safety thing. They look better than the Tesmanian Tesla Model 3 Highland Floor Mats Interior Liners, tho the Tesmanian ones are cheaper and work well enough. No complaints with either, but 3D MAXpider feels more secure.

To add to the point above: be careful with generic mats so they dont slide under the brake pedal... TAPTES Tesla Model 3 2024 Highland Floor Mats TPE are solid for Seattle rain tho.

> be careful with generic mats so they dont slide under the brake pedal To add to the point above: fit is a major safety concern. I've been disappointed by how many brands skip coverage on the dead pedal area. Unfortunately, the WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit Tesla Model 3 2024 often warps at the edges over time. The TuxMat Tesla Model 3 2024 Highland Floor Mats Full Set has much better vertical coverage for Seattle rain, tho the clips are kinda tedious. It stays locked in place better than basic TPE sets.
