What are the best organizers for the Tesla Model X Plaid console?

I finally took delivery of my Model X Plaid last week, and while I’m absolutely obsessed with the performance and that yoke steering wheel, the center console is already becoming a black hole. Tesla’s design is so sleek and minimalist, but the storage spaces are just deep, cavernous pits with no real structure. I feel like I’m constantly digging for my sunglasses, key cards, and charging cables while I'm at a stoplight.

I’ve been looking at a few options online, but the refresh Model X (especially the Plaid) seems to have slightly different dimensions or configurations compared to the older versions, and I really don't want to deal with the hassle of returning things that don't fit perfectly. I’m specifically looking for a high-quality armrest organizer and perhaps a hidden cubby for the area under the main console.

One thing I'm worried about is the material quality—I’ve seen some cheap plastic ones that look like they'd rattle every time I launch the car (and we all know how hard the Plaid pulls!). I’d prefer something with a flocked or silicone lining that matches the OEM look and feel. Also, does anyone have a recommendation for an organizer that doesn't block access to the USB-C ports? I’ve noticed some designs make it a total pain to plug anything in once the tray is in place.

I’m willing to spend a bit more for something that feels premium and actually stays secure during 'Plaid mode' sprints. If you’ve found a setup that fits the 2022-2024 refresh interior perfectly and keeps things accessible without sacrificing the clean look, I’d love to hear about it.

Which specific brands or kits have you found to be the most durable and functional for the Model X Plaid console?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option before you pull the trigger on those plastic trays. Honestly, I've tried many over the years, and even the 'premium' ones like Spigen feel a bit stiff in the Plaid. If you're really worried about rattles during those insane launches, I think you should skip the hard plastic entirely and go with high-grade silicone.

In my experience, even flocked plastic can eventually start 'creaking' against the console walls when the car frame flexes. Here is what I'm running in my 2023 Plaid:

1. TAPTES Tesla Model X Center Console Organizer Silicone Tray - This is basically the GOAT for Plaid owners. Because it's solid silicone, it's LITERALLY impossible for it to rattle. It's soft-touch, matches the interior perfectly, and you can just toss your sunglasses in without worrying about scratches. Plus, it's way easier to clean if you spill some coffee.
2. Topfit for Tesla Model X Model S 2021-2024 Under Screen Storage Box Magnetic - For that 'hidden cubby' you mentioned, this is the one. It uses magnets to stay secure so it wont fly out when you're doing a sub-2 second sprint. It's way more stable than the friction-fit ones.
3. Kukauto Tesla Model X S Center Console Organizer Hidden Cubby Drawer - If you want something for the armrest area specifically, this fits the refresh dimensions perfectly and doesn't block the USB-C ports at all because it's cut lower on the sides.

I mean, you spent over $100k on a Plaid, so spending $30-40 on a set that actually stays silent is a no-brainer imo. The silicone stuff just feels more 'OEM+' than the rigid plastic bins. good luck with the new ride tho, it's a beast!! 👍

yo, congrats on the Plaid! i feel u on the black hole situation... honestly, it was driving me crazy too. For your 2022+ refresh, i highkey recommend the Spigen Glas.tR Console Organizer for Tesla Model X/S 2021-2024. It has that flocked lining so nothing rattles when u launch it, right? Also, check out the Basenor Tesla Model X Refresh Under Control Hidden Storage Box—it fits perfectly and stays secure. sooo much better, gl!

Seconding the recommendation above. I mean, silicone is definitely the way to go for safety cuz hard plastic trays can actually slide or pop out during those insane Plaid launches if they aren't perfectly snug. I've been super satisfied with the KIMAFUN Tesla Model S Model X 2021-2024 Center Console Silicone Organizer Tray because it basically acts like a non-slip grip for your gear. Also, check out the Topfit for Tesla Model S Model X 2021-2024 Hidden Storage Box Under Armrest for your valuables—it stays secure and won't rattle when ur hitting 0-60 in two seconds flat. Just make sure whatever you grab has the cutouts so you dont block those USB-C ports, tho most refresh-specific ones are fine now. 👍

Seconding the recommendation above. Spigen is great, but honestly, if ur looking to save a few bucks, I'd suggest checking out the Basenor Tesla Model X Refresh Center Console Organizer Tray 2021-2024. I've been using it for a while and it's basically identical quality for around $20-25. It has that flocked lining so things dont rattle when u launch, and it fits the refresh dimensions perfectly without blocking the USB-C ports!! Also, definitely grab the Topfit Tesla Model X S Center Console Hidden Storage Box for the armrest—it's super cheap but stays secure even in Plaid mode. Just be careful with the adhesive during install.
