I recently took delivery of my Model Y, but since my garage is currently being used for storage, the car has to sit out in the driveway. I’m really worried about the intense UV rays and the occasional bird droppings damaging the finish. I’m looking for a high-quality outdoor cover that is specifically designed for the Model Y’s dimensions. It needs to be breathable to prevent moisture buildup and, most importantly, have a zippered flap for the charging port so I can keep it plugged in overnight. Does anyone have experience with the official Tesla version versus something like a Tesmanian or custom fit cover? What would you recommend for the best protection and ease of use?
