Does anyone have a Toyota RAV4 hybrid for sale currently? im stuck between a used 2022 RAV4 or maybe a 2021 CR-V hybrid. i need to stay under 35k for my move from Denver next month. the toyota mileage is killer but the honda feels roomier for my camping gear so im really torn...

To add to the point above: I spent months obsessing over this exact choice before I moved last year! The hybrid tech in the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium AWD is seriously amazing for gas mileage, especially in the mountains around Denver. But man, the CR-V just swallows gear like a beast. Here is what I found after testing them both out:

  • Toyota e-AWD: It is fantastic because it has that dedicated rear electric motor. Gives you instant kick on slippery trails when you are heading to the campsite.
  • Honda Interior: Honestly feels like a class above for legroom. Much more open vibes.
  • Alternative: If you can find one nearby, check out the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience AWD. The tech is wild and the warranty is unbeatable for a used car under 35k. I ended up with the RAV4 because I do a ton of high-altitude driving and the fuel efficiency was just too good to pass up... even if I have to play Tetris with my bins sometimes!

I dont have one for sale unfortunately, but I totally agree with you on the space situation... the Honda definitely feels way more open when you are packing it full of gear. Personally, my old 2021 basically made fitting my camping bins and cooler much easier than my friends RAV4.

  • The Honda flat floor really makes a huge difference for bulky gear.
  • One thing to keep in mind is that the Toyota usually holds its resale value slightly better. Honestly, if you are doing a ton of camping, that extra interior volume in the CR-V is hard to ignore even if the Toyota gets better gas mileage. Both are decent options for the move tho... good luck with the search!
