Hey everyone! I just took delivery of my new Volvo EX30 and I’m absolutely loving the minimalist interior, but that massive center touchscreen is making me a bit nervous. Since almost every control—from the speedometer to the climate settings—is housed on that single display, I’m worried about fingerprints, glare, and potential scratches over time.

I’ve been looking around for a high-quality screen protector, but I want to make sure I get something that fits perfectly without interfering with the touch sensitivity or the proximity sensors. I’m particularly interested in finding a matte or anti-glare finish because the cabin gets quite bright in direct sunlight, and the reflections can be a bit distracting while driving. I’ve seen some cheap universal options online, but I’d much rather invest in something premium that matches the car's quality. Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that offers a precise fit for the EX30? Also, if you’ve already installed one, did it affect the screen's clarity or responsiveness at all?

Just saw this thread and I went through this last year with my previous car. Honestly, ur right to worry about the glare... it's literally so distracting when the sun hits it right. I actually found that the $15 LFOTPP Volvo EX30 12.3-inch Center Touchscreen Screen Protector works just as well as the pricey stuff. Seriously, why pay $50 when these cheap ones protect just the same? It didn't mess with my touch response at all and it's basically a lifesaver for safety when it's bright out!

yo congrats on the new ride! honestly I totally get the anxiety... that screen is basically the whole car lol. In my experience, I would suggest looking at these two options since I've tried both on my Volvos over the years:

* Spigen Glas.tR Slim Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Volvo EX30: This is highkey the best for fitment. Spigen always nails the dimensions and it comes with an auto-alignment kit that makes it literally impossible to mess up. The matte finish is GREAT for killing those cabin reflections, but it does make the screen look a tiny bit less "crisp" compared to bare glass.
* Vupik 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Volvo EX30: If you want a more premium "invisible" feel, go with this one. It's clear, so you still get some glare, but the oleophobic coating is SO much better than the factory glass for fingerprint resistance.

Basically, if sunlight is your main enemy, get the Spigen matte one. Touch responsiveness hasn't been an issue at all for me on either. gl with the install! 👍
