We just picked up a pre-owned Audi Q7 to serve as our primary family hauler, and I’m looking to get it properly outfitted for two toddlers and a very active golden retriever. Since it's a used model, it didn't come with many extras, and I want to protect the interior from the inevitable spills and muddy paws. I’m specifically looking for recommendations on durable all-weather floor mats that fit the Q7’s floor plan perfectly and maybe some seat protectors that won't ruin the leather. Does anyone have suggestions for integrated tablet holders or cargo dividers that work well with the third-row configuration? What are the absolute must-have accessories you’ve found most useful for keeping a Q7 family-ready and organized?

sooo I've been reading the thread and honestly, I'd actually suggest a different approach for the floor mats. While those rubber liners are cool, my biggest safety concern with toddlers is how *slick* they get when wet or covered in spilled juice. Basically, if they're slippery, it's a fall risk!

I highkey recommend looking at TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Audi Q7 instead. They have this amazing textured finish that's way more grippy and honestly looks more high-end than standard plastic liners. Plus, they cover like 95% of the carpet which is HUGE for muddy paws.

Also, for the dog/cargo situation, check these out:
* Canvasback Audi Q7 Cargo Liner - It's basically a custom fabric cover that lets you fold the third row independently without removing anything!
* Lusso Gear Kids Travel Tray with Tablet Holder - Super stable for the toddlers and way safer than those flimsy headrest mounts.

I'm still kinda new to the Q7 life but keeping the kids safe while protecting the leather is definitely the goal! gl! 👍

Ok so, for the Q7 I highkey recommend looking into the TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Audi Q7 because they cover way more of the carpet than the ones mentioned before, which is a lifesaver with muddy paws. For the pup, I've had a great experience with the Orvis Grip-Tight Quilted Microfiber Backseat Protector—it stays put on the leather and doesn't slide around. Also, if you want a clean tablet setup without bulky headrest mounts, the Audi Entertainment Mobile Tablet Holder is a solid OEM choice that integrates well with the seat backs. Definitely get the WeatherTech Cargo Liner with Bumper Protector too so your golden retriever doesn't scratch the paint when jumping in!

Quick tip—grab the Lusso Gear Car Seat Protector for under the toddler seats. It stops the leather from getting those deep creases and it is super cheap compared to some other brands. Also, for the golden retriever, I just use a standard window squeegee to get the hair out of the trunk carpet, works like a charm for the really stuck-in fur. Ngl I spent all morning trying to pressure wash my driveway and ended up soaking my shoes because the hose connector snapped. Typical DIY luck right there... ended up just staring at the puddles for twenty minutes while the dog barked at the hose. Anyway, those seat protectors are a total must if you want to keep the resale value up.

Seconding the recommendation above for the liners. WeatherTech is basically industry standard, but tbh I had issues with their material feeling too slippery when wet. If ur worried about safety with toddlers, I highkey recommend 3D MAXpider Kagu Series All-Weather Floor Liners. They have a better texture and won't slide around because of the patented backing.

For the dog, unfortunately, generic covers often bunch up and mess with the airbags. I'd stick to the Audi Genuine Accessories Rear Seat Cover cuz it's literally engineered for the Q7's side-impact sensors. Safety first, right?? Also, look into the Travall Guard Dog Barrier TDG1514 for that cargo area... it's a solid steel bolt-in that actually stays put during a crash, unlike those cheap tension bars. Just my two cents as a cautious owner! 👍

In my experience, basically you gotta get WeatherTech floor liners. Honestly, the laser-measured fit is literally perfect for the Q7 and catches everything. Plus, for ur golden retriever, I'm really happy with Canvasback liners... they cover the back of the 3rd row seats so you can still flip them up easily. It's lowkey a lifesaver for muddy paws! gl!

No way, I literally just dealt with this yesterday. Small world.
