Just took delivery of my new X5 and want to keep that cabin looking mint! I’m already considering all-weather floor liners and a center console organizer to manage that deep storage bin. Are there any specific brands or screen protectors you guys swear by? What’s the one interior accessory you think is absolutely essential?

Ok so, congrats on the new ride!! Protecting that iDrive screen is a massive priority cuz those things are literal fingerprint magnets, and honestly, the gloss black trim scratches if you just look at it wrong. Basically, you want gear that fits the G05 chassis perfectly without looking cheap or tacky.
Here's what I recommend based on my own setup:
1. Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for BMW X5 G05 vs ScreenPro Tech Matte Anti-Glare Film. The Spigen is 9H hardness and feels exactly like the factory glass, but it’s pretty reflective. The matte film is great if you hate glare, but it kinda softens the display resolution.
2. WeatherTech FloorLiner HP vs BMW OEM All-Weather Floor Mats. WeatherTech has much higher lips to catch winter slush, but the OEM ones look way more "factory" with the branding.
Seriously though, the Salusy Center Console Organizer Tray is the real MVP. It turns that deep abyss into a two-tier setup. gl!

Here's what I recommend:
- LFOTPP Navigation Screen Protector: cheap/clear
- Matte films: look blurry
After years with iDrive, this is better cuz it keeps the glass look. Essential budget buy!

In my experience, you've gotta protect that dash and the seat backs too. Here's what I suggest:
- A high-quality folding sunshade (UV rays are brutal)
- Kick mats for the seat backs
- Microfiber cloths for the gloss trim
Just be careful with harsh chemicals on the piano black... it's sensitive stuff and you dont want to ruin it. gl!
