I’m beyond excited to finally pick up my Cadillac LYRIQ next week! Since it supports up to 19.2 kW AC charging, I want a Level 2 home station that can actually keep up. I’m torn between the GM PowerPlay and a JuiceBox. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by for reliability and app features? Which charger provides the best speeds for your LYRIQ?

oh man, congrats on the LYRIQ!! honestly im sooo jealous, that car is basically a spaceship. so i just went through this same struggle cuz i wanted to max out that 19.2 kW speed too... but i gotta say, be careful because most standard home chargers wont actually hit that. i ended up going with the GM Energy PowerShift Charger 19.2kW and it's been pretty solid so far.

heres what i recommend based on my trial and error:

- make sure your electrical panel can actually handle it. i had to get a massive 100-amp circuit installed which was... expensive lol.
- the Enel X Way JuiceBox 80 Amp Level 2 EV Charging Station is another high-power option if you dont want the GM one, but the app can be kinda glitchy sometimes tbh.

i mean, 19.2 kW is highkey overkill for overnight charging for most people? but yeah, if you want the *fastest* possible home speeds, definitely stick with the 80-amp hardwired units... just double check ur wiring first!! gl!

Respectfully, I'd consider another option before going for those high speeds. Honestly, trying to hit 19.2 kW puts a TON of stress on your home's electrical. I'm a bit more cautious, so I'd stick with the Wallbox Pulsar Plus 48 Amp Level 2 EV Charger. It's super reliable and safe, right? Maxing out your panel can be risky, so maybe chat with an electrician first. Safety over speed, imo!

+1 to what was said earlier. IIRC hitting that 19.2 kW speed actually requires an 100-amp circuit, which gets pricey fast. Honestly, i think a standard 50-amp setup is way more cost-effective for most...

Soo, I actually tried the JuiceBox first but honestly... it was such a disappointment. I had major connectivity issues and the app felt super clunky, which sucks when you just wanna charge! If you really wanna hit those 19.2 kW speeds, I'd definitely lean toward the GM PowerPlay because it's literally built for the LYRIQ, but just keep in mind you'll need a serious electrical upgrade to actually get those max speeds.
