I’ve been driving my Chrysler 300 for about a year now, and while I love the smooth ride, the stock exhaust feels a bit too quiet for my liking. I’m really looking to give it a deeper, more aggressive growl without making it unbearable for daily commuting. I’m specifically looking at cat-back systems for the 5.7L Hemi, but I’m worried about excessive cabin drone at highway speeds. My budget is around $1,200, and I'm aiming for something high-quality. Has anyone here tried the Borla or Corsa systems on their 300? I’d love to hear your recommendations on which setup offers the best balance of performance gains and sound quality.

In my experience, choosing between Borla and Corsa is basically the classic Hemi debate lol. I've been messing with these cars for over five years and ngl, the drone struggle is real. If you're worried about that highway hum, Corsa is usually the way to go because of their RSC tech. It stays quiet while cruising but sounds mean when you're on it. Borla is deeper and more "muscular" sounding, but it can be a bit more noticeable in the cabin... For your situation, I'd check these out:
* Corsa Sport Cat-Back Exhaust System 14459 – This is the gold standard for zero drone.
* Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System 140445 – Amazing deep tone, though it might be right at your budget limit. Honestly, both are high-quality, but Corsa is just sooo smooth for daily driving. What kind of highway speeds do you usually hit? gl! 👍

For your situation, I've been thinking about what fits that $1,200 budget best. Here is my take: 1. Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust System 817522 - Usually around $1,050. It's got that classic, aggressive Hemi growl.
2. MBRP Armor Plus 2.5-Inch Cat-Back Exhaust S7112409 - Way cheaper, around $850. Flowmaster is the best choice for sound quality, but MBRP is the winner for pure value. gl!

Seconding the recommendation above! Corsa is literal magic for drone, but honestly, if your looking for a deeper tone, you might wanna consider the MagnaFlow Street Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System 15328. It's around $1,100. I installed one once and the rumble is way deeper than Corsa. Just be careful cuz it might have a tiny bit more hum at 70mph... i think? i mean, you dont want it too loud haha

Just found this thread and I gotta jump in from a technical side. I've spent years wrenching on these Hemis and while everyone loves the sound, nobody talks about the safety specs. Pro tip: check out the 'LXForums' technical archives for their exhaust resonance data. It's basically the gold standard for avoiding drone. In my experience, I've seen too many DIY jobs fail because of poor clearance. When I put in my current setup, I was worried about heat soak, so I made sure to:
* Use high-temp Grade 8 hardware to prevent bolt shear
* Verify at least 1-inch clearance from fuel lines and brake lines
* Install fresh OE-spec gaskets to prevent CO leaks Honestly, I'm REALLY satisfied with how my system sits now cuz I prioritized the install quality over just the brand. You dont want a rattle turning into a fuel fire. Definitely check your hangers too... safety first! 👍
