Hey everyone! We just picked up a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica for the family, and with winter right around the corner, I really need to get some solid all-weather floor mats. I am a bit worried about how they will fit with the Stow 'n Go seating because I do not want anything that makes it a huge pain to fold the seats down. I have looked at the basic ones from the dealership, but they seem pretty pricey. I have heard mixed things about brands like WeatherTech and Husky regarding the 2nd and 3rd-row coverage. Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that stays in place and handles mud well? What are your top recommendations for a perfect fit?
Seconding the recommendation above. Finding that middle ground where u arent fighting the carpet every time you need to stow the seats is LITERALLY the hardest part of owning a Pacifica lol. I totally agree that some big name brands are way too stiff for the folding mechanisms. basically most people dont realize that if the material is too thick it gets caught in the hinges and then youre stuck wrestling with a heavy seat in a grocery store parking lot. If youre looking for a budget friendly way to handle this without spending dealership money here is why I recommend looking at these:
Ok so I went through this exact same struggle last year right after we got our van!! I was highkey obsessed with finding the perfect balance between protection and not breaking my back every time I needed to stow the middle row. I spent like three weeks comparing technical specs and watching videos cuz I didnt wanna waste money. I looked at the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP but honestly the way they cover the tracks made me nervous for daily use.
For your situation, I would suggest Maxliner A0311/B0311 All Weather Floor Liners for 2017-2023 Pacifica. Theyre amazing because:
After years of driving vans, I've found Stow n Go is tricky. Unfortunately, my mats were not as good as expected... they blocked everything. Are you folding yours daily or just for trips?
To add to the point above: the flexibility of the polymer is really the secret sauce when youre dealing with those Stow n Go hinges. Most people just look at the lip height for mud protection, but the actual TPE vs rubber composition makes a huge difference in how the mats behave after being compressed. Ive been super satisfied with how the newer thermoplastic elastomers hold their shape without getting brittle in the cold, which is usually when they start catching on the seat tracks. Just catching up on this thread and wanted to dig a bit deeper into your specific setup. Are you actually tucking those seats away daily for cargo, or is it more of an occasional thing for road trips? Also, are you running the 7-passenger captain chairs or the 8-passenger bench? The technical fit for the second row varies quite a bit depending on that center aisle space, so I wanna make sure the specs match up before suggesting anything specific.
Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
