Hey everyone! My Challenger needs new shoes. I'm looking for all-seasons that can handle daily driving without losing that muscle car grip. I’m mostly concerned about wet traction and road noise on the highway. Has anyone tried the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s or Continental DWS06 Plus? Which ones offer the best balance of performance and tread life?

I went through this last year... Just sharing my experience: I learned the hard way that high-performance rubber can be a trap if you're on a budget.

- Careful with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 as the price-per-mile is steep if you drive daily.
- I tried the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 instead; they offer a solid 500 treadwear rating.
- Watch out for road noise as tread wears down on cheaper sets...

Honestly, it depends on your needs, but don't overpay for the brand name!

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, I’ve been there—spending $1,200 on tires just to have the tread disappear in 15k miles is super frustrating. Unfortunately, those big names have a massive markup. I actually had issues with the wet traction on some pricier sets, which was totally not as expected for the price.

Well, if you're looking for technical performance without the drain on your wallet, check these out:

* Kumho Ecsta PA51 245/45ZR20: Great technical specs for water evacuation and usually only about $150-$170 each.
* Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S: These have a solid silica compound that stays grippy in the cold, typically around $180.

That said, if you want the absolute best value-to-performance ratio, the General G-MAX AS-05 mentioned earlier is technical gold for the price. Hope this helps!

In my experience, those Michelins are top-tier but definitely pricey. For your situation, I've tried many setups and found you can get that muscle grip without the "muscle car tax" on your wallet:

* General G-MAX AS-05: My favorite bang-for-your-buck choice. Usually around $165/tire.
* Sumitomo HTR A/S P03: Seriously quiet on the highway for under $150.

Both handle wet pavement way better than stock. Honestly, why pay $300+ per corner? Hope this helps!
