Hey everyone! I just picked up a 2023 Dodge Durango and I’m absolutely loving the power and the space so far. However, the interior feels a little 'bare bones' right now, and I want to make it more functional and comfortable for daily driving and the occasional road trip. I’m especially looking for items that fit the rugged yet sporty vibe of the Durango without looking cheap.

I’ve already been looking at some high-quality all-weather floor mats because I’m worried about the kids tracking mud onto the carpet, but I’m curious what else is actually worth the money. Are there specific center console organizers that fit well? The deep bin is great, but things just get lost in there. Also, since the infotainment screen is such a fingerprint magnet, has anyone found a tempered glass protector that doesn't ruin the touch sensitivity? I have a budget of around $400 to get started with a few key upgrades. I’d love to hear about the little things you’ve added that made a big difference in your ownership experience. What are the absolute must-have interior accessories you would recommend for a new Durango owner?

In my experience, you gotta prioritize protection first. For the screen, Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 is basically the gold standard cuz it keeps the touch sensitivity perfect while killing those oily fingerprints. For that 'black hole' console, I'd go with the VehicleOCD Center Console Organizer Tray for Dodge Durango 2021-2024—it's cheap but fits like it came from the factory. If you want high-end mats that fit the sporty vibe better than basic rubber, 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Dodge Durango are WAY better looking than WeatherTech tbh. They've got a carbon fiber texture that looks SO good with the Durango interior. You'll stay way under ur $400 budget with those! gl!

Honestly, I had some issues with the cheaper door pocket inserts I first bought... they rattled like crazy. For a high-quality feel, get the Muslogy for Dodge Durango 2011-2023 Door Handle Storage Box. It actually makes that wasted space useful for your phone or keys without looking like cheap plastic. Since you're worried about mud, definitely check out the Mopar 82214150AD All-Weather Floor Mats for Dodge Durango—they fit the floor studs perfectly so they don't slide around. Also, if you want to protect the back of the seats from kids' feet while keeping the sporty vibe, look at BarksBar Luxury Pet Front Seat Cover or a similar kick protector, tho the Mopar ones are usually more durable for long road trips. Good luck with the build!

Yo, congrats on the new ride! I've been driving Durangos for years and honestly, that center console is a black hole. Before you buy anything, are you looking to maximize storage for like, tools and gear, or is it more about keeping the kids' snacks and devices organized for those road trips? Also, does your 2023 have the bench or the captain's chairs in the back? Makes a huge difference for what fits!

Yo! Huge congrats on the 2023 Durango!! That HEMI power is literally addictive, but I totally get the "bare bones" vibe. Since you're focusing on keeping it rugged and kid-friendly, I gotta give you a massive heads-up from a safety-first perspective.

One thing people always overlook is seat gap fillers. Seriously, I've seen so many people drop their phones or keys while driving and try to fish them out—which is actually super dangerous if you're on the highway. I highkey recommend getting some high-quality gap blockers that blend into the leather. It keeps the "sporty" look but stops the "black hole" effect between the seat and console.

Also, since you mentioned road trips, you really gotta look into some heavy-duty seat back protectors. Even with all-weather mats, kids love to kick the back of the front seats with muddy boots, and that factory fabric/plastic scuffs sooo easily. I'd suggest looking at Kick Mats that have a tactical or leather finish so they don't look like cheap diaper bags.

For the screen, honestly, just make sure whatever protector you get is rated for high heat. These cabins get hot in the summer, and cheap adhesive can actually bubble or, worse, mess with the digitizer sensitivity over time. Safety-wise, a clear screen is a must so you aren't squinting at the backup cam! Hope this helps you stay within that $400 budget. Peace! 👍
