Are there any recommended custom luggage sets for the Ferrari Roma Spider?

Honestly getting so frustrated trying to pack for our trip to the coast next month because the Roma Spider trunk is basically a joke once the roof is down. I tried my usual Tumi carry-ons and they just wont fit right no matter how I angle them and now I'm worried about scratching the interior. I need something that actually uses every inch of that weirdly shaped space.

  • must be high quality leather to match the Nero interior
  • needs to arrive in New York within 3 weeks
  • budget is around $6,000 but honestly I'd pay more if it just fits

Does anyone actually use the official Ferrari ones or are they a total ripoff? I just need something that works before I lose my mind trying to squeeze a duffel in there...

Coming back to this, Id suggest the Jordan Bespoke Ferrari Roma Spider 3 Piece Leather Set. Just be super careful you dont overpack, since bulging bags can still jam that roof sensor. Good luck!

Saw this earlier but just getting a chance to reply. To add to the point above: the real danger with the Spider is the roof sensors. If you pack a bag thats even half an inch too tall, you risk jamming the mechanism or throwing a code, and thats way more expensive than a luggage set. I tend to be pretty cautious with my trunk space for that reason. You should look at these:

I have dealt with this exact headache with my spiders over the years. Honestly, the biggest mistake people make is trying to force standard rectangular bags into those tapered corners. You will end up scuffing the liner or, worse, putting pressure on the roof mechanism which is a nightmare to fix. In my experience, custom sets are the only way to go if you actually want to use the car for trips without worrying about damage.

  • Be careful with heavy zippers. Even high-end leather bags can have exposed metal that ruins your interior fast.
  • Avoid anything with hard internal frames. You need a bit of give to wedge things in securely under that shelf.
  • Double check the height clearances. If a bag is even a half inch too tall, the roof sensor might freak out mid-cycle and leave you stuck. The official Ferrari sets are decent quality but usually overpriced for what they are. You can definitely find better leather elsewhere that ships just as fast. If you are in New York, you should be able to get a set delivered in time... just make sure they guarantee the fitment specifically for the Spider, not just the Roma coupe.

Saw this earlier but just now responding. Unfortunately I had issues with the official dealer bags... they werent as good as expected and the leather scuffed my interior almost immediately. Quick question tho, does your car have the fold-down rear seat option? It changes how you stack things.
