Picking up my Purosangue in Miami next Friday and I am panicking. I saw people suggesting 3D mats and leather kick protectors but then I read they dont fit the 2024 rails right? My logic was sticking to OEM but the dealer is slow. What is actually essential for a road trip...
To add to the point above: unfortunately, standard extinguishers are messy. Element E50 Professional Fire Extinguisher offers 50-second discharge vs 10-second dry powder units. TL;DR: superior gas suppression.
I would suggest being careful with the battery. Bringing a NOCO Boost HD GB70 2000A Jump Starter on my first trip really helped my anxiety, it is much cheaper than a tow.
I just finished a long haul in mine and stayed pretty happy with just the basics. The dealer was slow for me too, so I skipped em and had no complaints. Are you planning on doing some serious messy weather driving on this trip, or are you just looking to keep the dust off the leather? Also, what kind of passenger load are you expecting?
^ This. Also, I've had issues with some of the aftermarket protection kits lately. Unfortunately, the fitment on those generic 3D mats is just not as good as expected for the 2024 rails. I tried a set and they blocked the seat adjustment track... super frustrating when you're on a long drive. If you're doing a road trip from Miami, prioritize visibility and protecting that fragile trim. Here is what I would actually trust:
