Which car cover is best for the new Ferrari 12Cilindri?

Hey everyone! I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking delivery of the new Ferrari 12Cilindri soon, but I’m already starting to stress a bit about keeping that finish pristine. Since this model has such a unique, long-hood silhouette and those specific aero elements at the rear, I really want to avoid a generic 'one-size-fits-all' cover that might flap around or rub the paint the wrong way.

I’m mainly looking for an indoor cover for my garage. My biggest concern is breathability; I want to make sure no moisture gets trapped underneath, but I also need a super soft inner lining—ideally something like a thick fleece or premium satin—to prevent any micro-scratching on the clear coat. I’ve looked at the official Ferrari Genuine accessories, but sometimes high-end aftermarket brands offer a bit more cushion or a tighter, custom-tailored fit.

Has anyone found a manufacturer that already has the precise digital patterns for the 12Cilindri? I’m looking for something that hugs those dramatic lines perfectly without being a struggle to put on. Should I just stick with the factory-supplied cover, or is there a specific premium brand like Covercraft or Specialized Covers that you’d recommend for a V12 of this caliber?

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, ur right to worry cuz some covers basically act like sandpaper if they're too loose. I'm still kinda new to the Ferrari world but I've been researching safety like crazy for mine.

I'd check out these two:
- CarCovers.com Dust Shield Custom Indoor Car Cover: Super breathable so no moisture gets trapped, plus it's *literally* like a soft hug for the paint.
- Coverking Satin Stretch Indoor Car Cover: This one is great cuz it's custom-fit to the 12Cilindri's lines so it won't flap and scratch the clear coat.

Basically, just make sure it's super snug so it doesn't move at all! gl! 👍

Coming back to this... honestly, I've had some pretty bad luck with those "fancy" satin covers. Most claim to be breathable but actually end up trapping dust underneath, which basically acts like sandpaper on your clear coat when you slide it on, you know? Since the 12Cilindri is so new, most companies are still perfecting their digital patterns, so be careful with anyone claiming a "perfect fit" just yet.

For a car of this caliber, I'd highkey recommend the CarCapsule SC-6 Showcase 16' Indoor Car Capsule. It’s basically a sealed bubble that doesn't touch the car at all. No friction = zero micro-scratching. If that's too bulky for ur garage, I've used the Hamilton Classic Super Soft Stretch Indoor Car Cover on my other V12s and it’s way thicker and softer than the factory junk. I was super disappointed with the OEM fitment last time—it literally flapped near the aero bits. Stick with something bespoke or no-touch. gl!

Ok so, I feel u on the stress of that new Ferrari delivery! I remember when I got my 812 Superfast home, I was literally obsessive about the finish. Unfortunately, I actually had a pretty bad experience with the factory-supplied cover that came with the car. Honestly, the Ferrari Genuine Indoor Car Cover looked great with the logo and all, but the inner lining was way thinner than I expected for a V12 of that caliber. It felt kinda scratchy after a few uses, and I swear it left some micro-marring on the clear coat... ngl I was pretty disappointed lol.

Since the 12Cilindri has that crazy long hood and those specific aero flaps, you definitely need something custom. I ended up switching to a Specialized Covers Prestige + Indoor Car Cover for my garage and the difference was night and day. It uses a super thick non-scratch fleece lining that basically feels like a premium sweatshirt for ur car. Plus, they usually get the digital patterns for new Ferraris pretty fast. Another solid option if you want maximum cushion is the Covercraft Form-Fit Indoor Car Cover, which has that high-end spandex/polyester blend that hugs every curve without flapping around.

My lesson learned? Dont just trust the OEM stuff cuz of the branding. Go for the brands that specialize in bespoke tailoring. Anyway, seriously congrats on the 12Cilindri, thats a total dream car! gl with the pick up! 👍

For your situation, honestly, I would suggest looking at CarCovers.com Platinum Shield Indoor Car Cover if you wanna save some serious cash without sacrificing that soft feel. I totally get the stress - I was the same way with my Portofino - but the price of some boutique covers is just insane for what's basically fancy fabric.

I mean, basically make sure to check if they've updated their digital templates for the 12Cilindri yet cuz it's so new, but they usually move fast. These are way cheaper than the factory ones and the fleece lining is actually reallyyy thick, which is great for peace of mind. Plus, it's super breathable so you won't get that moisture trap issue you're worried about. Just be careful with the fit around those active aero bits - maybe wait a month for the patterns to be PERFECT. gl! 👍
