Hey everyone! I finally took delivery of my Mach-E last week, and I'm absolutely loving the drive so far. However, I’ve already noticed that the factory carpet mats are basically magnets for every bit of dirt and debris from my shoes. Since I live in an area that gets a fair amount of rain and mud, I really need to upgrade to something more durable before the interior gets trashed.
I’ve been doing some research, but I'm a bit torn between the different styles available. I’ve heard people rave about the high-coverage 3D mats like TuxMat because they cover so much of the side walls, but I've also looked at the classic WeatherTech and the official Ford OEM all-weather mats. One thing I’m particularly concerned about is the fit for that flat rear floor—I want something that stays put and doesn't slide around when passengers get in and out. Also, does anyone have a recommendation that includes a matching mat for the frunk? I plan on using that space for groceries and want to make sure it's protected too.
For those of you who have had your Mach-E for a while, which floor mats have held up the best in terms of fit and ease of cleaning? Is it worth spending extra for the premium aftermarket brands, or do the Ford ones do the job just fine?
Yo! Late to the party but I've been through like 3 different sets of mats over the last 2 years with my Mach-E. I feel u on the factory carpets... they're basically a magnet for every bit of grime. I saw the first reply mentioned the Ford ones, and they're decent for the price, but if you want REAL protection for those side walls, you gotta go aftermarket.
You might find this useful - check out TuxMat Floor Mats for Ford Mustang Mach-E vs 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Liners for Ford Mustang Mach-E.
* **TuxMat**: These provide the most coverage I've ever seen. They literally go all the way up the sides. **Pros**: Looks super premium, covers everything. **Cons**: Can be a bit of a pain to install with the clips, and dirt hides in the texture sometimes.
* **3D MAXpider**: This is what I'm rocking now. **Pros**: The 'Kagu' texture is easy to spray down, and the backing is basically like velcro—it wont move a millimeter on that flat rear floor. **Cons**: Less side coverage than the TuxMat.
There's a great resource at Mache-forum.com where users post side-by-side photos. I'd suggest looking there because the TuxMats can look a bit "puffy" in some lighting. For the frunk, check out the 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Frunk Liner for Ford Mustang Mach-E to keep the look consistent. Be careful with cheap knockoffs from Amazon, the fit is usually wierd. gl with the ride!!
When I got my Mach-E, I was tempted by those pricey boutique brands but stayed cautious. Honestly, the Ford Mustang Mach-E All-Weather Floor Liners are the best deal, especially if u use your FordPass points. They're like $170 but basically free with points!! They fit the rear floor perfectly and wont slide. Plus, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Front Trunk Liner is solid. Lesson learned: dont overpay when OEM works this well.
In my experience, Lasfit Floor Mats for Ford Mustang Mach-E are actually the best middle ground. WeatherTech feels kinda stiff, and while TuxMat is cool, it’s a lot to clean.
* **Fit:** They dont budge on the flat rear floor at all.
* **Frunk:** Grab the matching Lasfit Front Trunk Cargo Liner for your groceries.
Seriously happy with mine, they look factory but work way harder lol!
I've tried many and sliding mats are dangerous so watch out!!
1. Get TuxMat Floor Mats for Ford Mustang Mach-E cuz they dont slide.
