So my Mach-E is coming next Friday and I am lowkey freaking out. I have no clue what I am doing and this is my first ever nice car. I live near Seattle so its always muddy and I have two kids who spill everything. I have maybe $250 to spend right now to keep the inside clean. Sorry if these are dumb questions but I am totally lost on what I actually need to buy before it gets here.

  • floor mats that can handle rain and spills
  • a screen protector for that huge middle screen?
  • something for the back seats so the kids dont ruin them

I am just so overwhelmed by all the stuff online and dont want to buy total junk...

Most accessories are unfortunately garbage. I had issues with the 3D MAXpider Kagu All-Weather Floor Mats Mustang Mach-E because the texture is not as good as expected for cleaning Seattle mud.

  • Get WeatherTech FloorLiner HP Custom Fit Mustang Mach-E instead.
  • The Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Mach-E 15.5 inch is okay but honestly attracts smudges. Generic seat covers fit poorly and dont actually protect the bench well.

Quick reply while I have a sec. ^ This. Also, been really satisfied with the technical specs on some mid-tier brands lately. You basically dont need to break the bank for quality...

  • OEDRO All-Weather Floor Mats for Ford Mustang Mach-E 2021-2023
  • RUIYA Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Ford Mustang Mach-E 15.5 Inch Center Touchscreen
  • Helteko Car Seat Back Protector Kick Mats 2 Pack No complaints here, everything works well and keeps you way under that $250 limit tho.

Oh man, congrats!! I actually pulled the technical data sheets on these accessories last month cuz I'm a nerd like that lol. For Seattle, the hydrophobic properties on TPE mats are a total game changer compared to cheap rubber. I spent way too long looking at the material density but it was worth it!

  • Mats: I chose Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats Ford Mustang Mach-E. The TPE material is amazing because it stays flexible even when it's freezing out but it's super rigid against spills. The laser scanning on these is seriously impressive.
  • Screen: You need the The Screen Protector Guys Mustang Mach-E Matte Anti-Glare Screen Protector. It has a 9H hardness rating which is totally overkill but the matte finish makes the UI look so much cleaner in direct light and stops the fingerprints!
  • Seat Backs: I grabbed the Munchkin Brica Deluxe Kick Mats 2 Pack for my kids. The Grime-Guard fabric is fantastic for easy wiping when they start kicking the seats with muddy boots. Honestly, you can get all three for under $220 if you look around. You're gonna love the car, the acceleration is wild!

Honestly, most of the official stuff is overpriced and kinda disappointing. I had issues with the fitment on several generic brands where the edges just curled up after a month of PNW rain... totally not as good as expected for the price. If you want to actually save your carpets from Seattle soup, you need something that covers the sidewalls too.

  • TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats Ford Mustang Mach-E are the only ones that actually go up the sides of the footwell. Most mats let mud seep under the edges, but these basically create a bucket for all the slush.
  • For the kids, grab the Lusso Gear Car Seat Protector with Pockets. I tried the thin rubber ones and they just slid around and felt cheap. You need the heavy-duty padding so their booster seats dont leave permanent dents in those nice seats.
  • For the screen, Triple Albedo Matte Screen Protector for 15.5-inch Ford Mustang Mach-E is better than glossy because the glare from the pano roof gets crazy on rare sunny days. Speaking of the roof, have you tried taking it through the car wash at University Village? I swear every time I go there, there is a line of like twelve Teslas and I am just sitting there in the Mach-E feeling like the odd one out... even tho the charging station there is basically a zoo. I missed my turn last week cuz I was too busy messing with the radio settings and almost bumped a curb. Anyway, stick to those for your budget and you'll be fine.
