I just picked up my new Genesis GV60 and I'm absolutely loving the car, but I’m already worried about scuffing up the trunk area. I do a lot of weekend hiking and often have muddy gear or groceries that tend to slide around. I've looked at the official Genesis accessories, but they're a bit pricey, so I’m wondering if anyone has tried high-quality aftermarket options like WeatherTech or TuxMat. I really need something with a precise fit that won't block the sub-trunk access or the side cubbies. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by for durability and easy cleaning? Which cargo liner offers the best balance of protection and style for the GV60 interior?

Congrats on the new ride! I totally get the struggle of keeping that trunk pristine while still living an active life. Since you're worried about mud and sliding gear, I've spent a lot of time looking into the specs for my own GV60. Tbh, while the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Genesis GV60 is a classic choice for durability, it can sometimes feel a bit industrial for the Genesis interior.

For your situation, I'd seriously recommend the TuxMat Cargo Mat for Genesis GV60. In my experience, it offers the best balance of style and utility. It has a more premium, fabric-like texture that matches the luxury vibe, but it's actually super easy to spray down. Most importantly, the fit is laser-scanned to be precise, so it doesn't block those side cubbies or the sub-trunk latch. It’s also got a bit of a "tacky" surface, so your groceries won't be flying around every time you hit a corner! Hope this helps!

Seconding the recommendation above! WeatherTech is definitely the 'safe' pick, but I've had a moment to think about the technical side of this more since I've been researching similar upgrades. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck without paying the 'Genesis Tax' at the dealership, you should definitely check out the Smartliner Custom Fit Cargo Liner for Genesis GV60. It usually retails for about $85, which is a total steal compared to the $150+ official accessories. It's made of a durable TPE material that’s really easy to hose off after a muddy hike.

But, if you're worried about style, the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Cargo Liner for Genesis GV60 is honestly the gold standard in my opinion. It has a refined carbon fiber-like texture that looks way more high-end than basic rubber. From a technical standpoint, it features a patented 'MAXpider' backing that grips the carpet fibers so it won't budge an inch—really important if you're hauling heavy groceries that tend to shift.

Just a word of caution from an experienced owner: make sure whatever you buy specifically mentions sub-trunk access. Some cheaper 'trim-to-fit' mats are a nightmare because they block the handle or the side storage bins. I'd lean towards the Smartliner for pure budget or the 3D MAXpider if you want that perfect balance of protection and aesthetics. It depends on your needs, but both are solid. Hope this helps you keep that new GV60 looking sharp!
