I’m beyond excited because I’m finally taking delivery of my Genesis GV60 Magma next week! Since it’s such a bold, high-performance EV, I want to ensure I have everything ready to keep it looking pristine and functional from day one. I’m especially looking for items that complement the Magma’s unique styling—maybe specific all-weather floor mats that fit the sporty interior or high-quality rim protectors given those gorgeous wheels. I’ve also been considering a screen protector for the massive display to avoid fingerprints. For those who already have their GV60, what are the absolute essentials you’ve added so far? Are there any specific brands or custom-fit accessories you’d consider 'must-haves' for this model?
sooo congrats on the Magma!! honestly, that orange is just insane. In my experience, high-perf EVs are absolute magnets for wear if ur not careful. basically, because the GV60 is so quiet and has such high-torque, you notice every little interior rattle or rim scratch way more than in a gas car. unfortunately, i had issues with some 'universal' accessories early on that basically ruined the premium vibe. i learned the hard way that you gotta get stuff specifically engineered for the car's dimensions or you're just asking for trouble. Here's what I recommend for your situation: - Floor protection: don't settle for thin rubber. I went with TuxMat Genesis GV60 Custom Floor Mats because they cover way more of the carpet side-walls. My last set of generic mats were not as good as expected—they slipped and actually bunched up near the pedals. kinda sketchy tbh. - That massive screen: Fingerprints are a mood killer on that panel. I use the Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for Genesis GV60. it's matte and keeps the glare down during day driving. - The wheels: i know u mentioned rim protectors like AlloyGator Rim Protectors, but I'm realy cautious about them. if they aren't installed perfectly, they can come loose at highway speeds. i actually think it's better to get a pro to apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour instead. it makes cleaning that aggressive brake dust way easier so you don't ruin the finish while scrubbing. seriously, protect it day one or you'll regret it. gl with the delivery!! peace
Totally agree with the wrap recommendation above! Honestly, protecting that Magma finish is priority number one cuz Genesis paint can be pricey to fix. Jumping in here with a more budget-focused tech perspective... if you wanna save on charging without losing performance, I'd skip the expensive dealer setups. I use the Lectron NEMA 14-50 40 Amp Level 2 EV Charger which is basically half the price of others but still gives you that 9.6kW output you need for fast home top-offs. Plus, since the GV60 has that massive screen setup, instead of a super pricey glass protector, I just keep a bottle of Chemical Guys SPI22016 Total Interior Cleaner & Protectant and a microfiber in the door. It handles the UV protection and fingerprints way better than just dry wiping lol. Also, you gotta protect that trunk! I found the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Genesis GV60 offers way better coverage for messy stuff compared to the basic carpet mat. Seriously, the specs on the Magma are insane, you're gonna love it!! gl!
TIL! Thanks for sharing

Totally agree with the above! Honestly, you gotta protect that Magma finish. In my experience, getting a wrap from Xpel is a literal lifesaver for high-perf EVs cuz of the rock chips. Also, for charging, just get any Level 2 station from Grizzl-E. Theyre super robust and handle the high-amperage tech side flawlessly. Basically a must-have if you wanna keep things running smooth. gl!!
