So I finally pulled the trigger on a 2024 Genesis G80 in Hallasan Green and the interior is just way too nice to ruin with the salt and slush we get up here in Syracuse. Winter is coming fast and I really need to protect the carpets before November hits. I've been digging around the forums and the big names keep popping up like WeatherTech and TuxMat. I looked at the WeatherTech ones but honestly they look a bit too much like something youd put in a Ford F-150 not a luxury sedan and I am worried theyll look cheap. Then theres TuxMat which everyone raves about for the coverage but some of the photos make it look really shiny or almost like a puffer jacket on the floor which might be too much? Plus I heard they can be a pain to get the clips under the trim and I dont want to scratch anything. My budget is around 200 bucks give or take so I really want to get this right the first time without having to deal with returns. Does anyone actually have these in their G80 right now and how do they hold up against actual heavy snow and mud? Are there any other brands I should be looking at that fit the premium vibe better...
Regarding what #1 said, I unfortunately found WeatherTech FloorLiner HP too stiff.
@Reply #3 - good point! Safety is vital so they dont slide near the pedals.
Yep, this is the way
I've tried many over the years and would skip the truck vibe.
