Which screen protector is best for the GV60 infotainment?

Hey everyone! I just recently took delivery of my GV60, and while I’m absolutely head-over-heels for the interior, that massive dual-screen infotainment setup is a total fingerprint magnet. It’s driving me a little crazy seeing smudges every time the sun hits it! I’m looking to get a screen protector installed ASAP to keep it looking pristine, but I’m torn on which direction to go.

Since the glass has that unique curved design across the dash, I’m worried about fitment issues or peeling at the edges. I’ve seen a few options online, ranging from the matte anti-glare films to the tempered glass versions, but I don’t want to sacrifice that beautiful screen clarity or touch sensitivity. I’m particularly curious about the matte options—do they make the display look grainy, or do they actually help with the midday glare? Also, has anyone tried the kits from brands like Spigen or ScreenProTech specifically for the GV60? I’d love to hear about your experience with the installation process and how it’s holding up. For those who have one installed, which specific brand or type did you find offers the best balance of protection and visibility?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option before sticking permanent adhesive on that gorgeous dash. Honestly, I've had issues with those high-end matte films making the GV60's crisp display look grainy and "fuzzy" in direct sunlight—it was really not as good as expected for the price.

Warning: Be extremely careful with the "wet-apply" kits often recommended. If any application fluid seeps into the bezel of that integrated dual-screen housing, you're looking at a potential electronic short that’s definitely not worth the risk!

I’ve found a much more cost-effective and safer approach to handle the smudges:
* Grab a high-quality The Rag Company Minx NYX 400gsm Microfiber for a quick dry wipe—it picks up oils better than any film.
* If you really want a barrier, use a tiny amount of Gyeon Q2M Glass 500ml on the cloth first. It leaves a slight polymer layer that makes fingerprints much easier to wipe off later.
* Keep a dedicated ScreenMom Screen Cleaner Kit in the center console for deeper cleans.

In my experience, the naked glass just looks way more premium. Save your money for a nice road trip instead! Let me know if you decide to go the coating route.

In my experience, I've tried many protectors over the years, and for the GV60, I suggest choosing between these two. I personally went with the matte film because those smudges were driving me crazy too! 🚗

1. ScreenProTech Genesis GV60 Screen Protector Kit: This is a high-quality film. It fits the curves perfectly and really hides fingerprints, though it's a bit pricier at around $50.
2. Spigen Glas.tR Slim for Genesis GV60: This tempered glass is cheaper and super clear, but it reflects more glare in midday sun.

Honestly, the matte film slightly softens the image, but not having to wipe the screen every five minutes is worth it! Hope this helps!

Hey! I just saw this and had to jump in because I’m totally obsessed with keeping my GV60 interior looking brand new too! Seriously, it’s such a fantastic car, but that massive glass panel is a total magnet for skin oils. In my experience, I’m always super cautious about permanent damage to the factory anti-reflective coating, so a protector is a must.

Here’s how I’d break down the technical options:

* **Matte PPF Film:** I’d suggest the Xpel Ultimate Plus Interior Protection Film for Genesis GV60. It’s high-grade paint protection film cut for the dash. Pros: It’s amazing at killing glare adn hiding prints. Cons: It can slightly "soften" the display’s crispness.
* **Tempered Glass:** Look at the RUIYA Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Genesis GV60 Navigation. Pros: Incredible clarity and feels just like the original glass. Cons: Since the screen is slightly curved, these are harder to align perfectly without edge lifting.

Honestly, I’d lean towards the Xpel. It's the most reliable for that curved surface. Just be really careful with the application spray—you don't want liquid seeping into the dash... wait, that sounds scary, but just use a light mist and you'll be fine! Hope this helps!
