So I finally pulled the trigger on the 2024 Tucson Hybrid Limited and man I love it but I'm freaking out about the interior already. I've been a WeatherTech guy for like ten years, put them in every truck and SUV I've owned but I just realized the hybrid floor layout is slightly different because of the battery placement under the rear seats. I'm seeing conflicting stuff online about whether the standard floor mats block the air intake vent for the hybrid battery cooling. If that gets blocked I'm worried about overheating or just ruining the warranty on a brand new 40k car. I checked the OEM ones at the dealership but they felt kind of flimsy for what they wanted to charge me—like $200 plus tax just for the fronts and back? That's insane. I'm in Michigan and the salt here is going to absolutely murder my carpets by December if I don't get something deep-dish and waterproof soon. Has anyone actually installed TuxMat or Smartliner in the hybrid specifically? I need to know if they have the cutout for the vent or if they just cover it up. I don't want to have to trim a $180 set of mats myself and mess it up. What are you guys using that actually fits the hybrid floor pan perfectly without messing with the battery airflow?...

Late to the party but check out 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats for Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. It works perfectly for the hybrid layout so you wont block the vent or airflow.

I'm jumping in because I actually went a different route! I looked at those high-end ones but went with Smartliner All Weather Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2022-2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and they are amazing!!
- The hybrid battery vent cutout is perfect.
- Way more affordable than the dealer options.
- They caught every drop of slush from my boots last winter! I was so worried about my new car but these kept it spotless and saved me money too...

Quick question: have you checked your speaker layout? I am paranoid about battery safety! Husky Liners WeatherBeater Series Floor Mats for 2022-2024 Tucson Hybrid are amazing:

I totally get the stress about that battery vent. I spent way too long researching this when I got my hybrid because the last thing I wanted was to cook the battery or void my warranty over some floor mats. Honestly, I went with TuxMat Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2022-2024 Custom Floor Mats and I've been incredibly satisfied with how they handle the hybrid-specific layout. They actually have a very precise cutout for that air intake under the rear seat, so you dont have to worry about blocking anything at all. The coverage is way better than the stuff I saw at the dealership too. They go all the way up the sides of the footwell which is a lifesaver if you're dealing with Michigan salt and slush. I'm usually pretty cautious about aftermarket stuff, but these felt like they were made for the car, not just a generic shape. They even come with these little clips to tuck the edges under the trim so everything stays put. No sliding around or curling up.
