I finally got my Ioniq 6 last week after waiting months here in Seattle and honestly im already kinda frustrated with the interior layout. dont get me wrong the car is a dream to drive but the piano black plastic is driving me absolutely insane with the fingerprints and dust literally seconds after I wipe it down. its like a magnet for mess. also things just slide around everywhere in those door pockets it makes so much noise. I really want to protect the screens and fix the storage situation before I scratch something permanently. I have like 200 bucks set aside to just fix these little annoyances right now. what are the best interior accessories you guys have found to actually make the cabin feel premium and organized? I need links or brands or something...
Saw this earlier but just getting around to typing it out... tbh that piano black is a nightmare for scratches. If you even look at it wrong with a microfiber cloth it gets those tiny swirls. To keep the car looking decent without spending a fortune on professional PPF, I'd look at these:
I went through the same stress when I first got mine. I was so paranoid about those screens getting scuffed that I grabbed the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Ioniq 6 and it works perfectly. No complaints. I also bought BestEvMod Anti-Slip Door Pocket Liners to stop the sliding noise... everything feels much more secure now and it definitely saved my sanity.
I had high hopes for the Ioniq 6 interior given the tech specs and that whole 800V architecture but honestly the material choices are disappointing for the price point. I tried to go the cheap route at first with some generic adhesive organizers and it was a total disaster. The surface tension on that door plastic is weird and nothing sticks right. I spent about 45 bucks on various generic bins from a big online retailer and they all rattled worse than the empty pockets did. It actually made the noise problem significantly louder because the hard plastic bins would vibrate against the door panel itself. A few things I would definitely warn you to avoid:
