I'm over these endless reviews. I saw WeatherTech but they look like cheap plastic trays and TuxMat might not fit my 2nd row console correctly according to some forums.

  • total spill protection for 2 kids
  • under $400
  • cargo liner for a wet dog

What fits the Luxe trim perfectly without sliding around?

I used 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Custom Fit Floor Mats because the backing actually grips. They dont slide near the console and the texture hides dog hair better than cheap plastic trays.

Regarding what #3 said about "In my experience over the years, the problem..." I actually disagree slightly because safety depends on anchor point precision. I am very satisfied with these options:

Honestly i went through the same headache with my Luxe. I initially spent way too much on those big name brands everyone talks about but unfortunately the fitment was a total mess around that second row console. WeatherTech just felt like cheap industrial plastic and it made my shoes squeak when they were wet... super annoying. Tbh i ended up returning them and going with 3D MAXpider Kagu All-Weather Floor Mats Black for the first two rows. They have this textured look that actually matches the luxury interior instead of looking like a work truck. For my golden retriever in the back i grabbed the Smartliner All-Weather Cargo Liner Black because it has a higher lip for when the dog gets muddy. All in it was about $330 and nothing slides. Total lifesaver for the kids spills too.

In my experience over the years, the problem with the Luxe trim is that middle console gap. Most generic mats leave it exposed or fit so tightly they buckle. I've tried many setups and found that material composition matters way more than the brand name on the box. You want a Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) because it stays pliable in winter but wont off-gas that weird chemical smell when the car sits in the sun. 1. I highly recommend the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Liners Front and Second Row. They have stay-put nibs that actually bite into the carpet so they wont slide around your kids feet. 2. For the wet dog, skip the plastic trays. They get slippery and dog hair just floats on top of them. The Canvasback Custom Cargo Liner for Infiniti QX60 Luxe is the way to go because it covers the back of the third row seats too, which is huge for hair control. Funny enough, talking about dog liners reminds me of when my old lab, Gus, decided to jump out the trunk of my old SUV before I had the leash on. He chased a squirrel right into a neighbor's open garage and knocked over a shelf of paint cans. I spent the entire weekend scrubbing Benjamin Moore off his paws and my bumper. Total nightmare... but yeah. Practical tip: if you buy the Husky liners as a full set you can usually stay well under $250. That leaves you plenty of cash for the cargo protection. Anyway, these definitely wont slide around like the cheaper ones.
