So I finally did it and got a used I-PACE HSE. Its the 2020 model in that dark blue color. Im honestly a bit overwhelmed because this is the fanciest car Ive ever owned and Im terrified of messing it up. Ive mostly driven old Toyotas where you just throw whatever in the back and dont care. But the interior on this Jag is so nice and I want to keep it that way but also make it feel a bit more like mine. I live near Seattle so it rains literally all the time and Im already seeing mud on the floors after just three days. I have two kids who are pretty messy and a golden retriever that sheds like crazy so I probably need some kind of protection.
I have about 1500 dollars set aside to spend over the next month for making it better. I was looking at those rubber floor mats but then I saw there are different brands and some are way more expensive than others and I dont know if the official Jaguar ones are actually better or if I should get something else like WeatherTech? Or maybe those fancy leather-looking ones I see on ads? I also noticed the center console is like a magnet for fingerprints and its already driving me a bit crazy. Is there a way to cover that or protect it somehow without it looking tacky?
Also Im super confused about the phone charging. My phone fits in that little slot but it doesnt seem to stay put when I turn corners and it keeps stopping the charge. Are there better organizers or something for that middle area? I feel like theres a lot of empty space but no good place to put my sunglasses or my wallet without them sliding around. Im really a total beginner with all this luxury car stuff so sorry if these are really basic questions. I just want it to look nice but still be able to actually use it with my family without losing my mind.
What kind of interior stuff do you all actually use daily? Are there any must-have accessories or little upgrades that make the cabin feel better or stay cleaner? Im looking for anything from seat covers that dont look cheap to better storage ideas or even tech stuff I might not know about...

In my experience, grabbing Jaguar I-PACE All-Weather Floor Mats is your safest bet. They fit perfectly and wont slip. Just ask if you need help with the cargo area!

@Reply #3 - good point! Safety is huge with those side airbags. Quick question tho, does your HSE have the performance seats or the standard sport ones? Itll change which organizers actually fit. For the console clutter, Ive used the Topfit Center Console Organizer Tray for Jaguar I-PACE for a while now. It stops sunglasses from sliding around and fills that dead space perfectly. Honestly, it makes the cabin way more usable.

^ This. Also, you might want to consider a matte PPF for that center console. I think some companies sell pre-cut kits but I havent tried them myself yet. Not sure if they affect the touch sensitivity tho. For the phone issue:
- Be careful with thick cases, they break the induction connection.
- IIRC the 2020 pad isnt more than 5W output.
- A small silicone spacer might help with the sliding.

Late to the party but @Reply #2 - good point! My cargo liner works well for the dog, but skip cheap seat covers. They can block side airbags in a crash.
