I finally pulled the trigger on a GT-Line EV9 in Ocean Blue and Im literally shaking with excitement right now like I cannot wait to pick it up next Friday!! But also I am terrified because we live up in the Pacific Northwest and it is basically mud season 24/7 here plus I have two kids who treat car seats like a buffet line and a big golden retriever who sheds enough to make a second dog every week so I need to bulletproof this interior before it gets ruined on day one.

I spent like three hours last night looking at mats and seat covers and I am so torn on what to actually buy. I saw the TuxMats online and they look super high end like they actually match the vibes of the EV9 better than anything else but then I read a few comments on a Facebook group saying they are a nightmare to scrub if you get actual dried mud in the grooves and honestly with my kids thats a guarantee. Then there is WeatherTech which I know is the gold standard for durability but they look so industrial and kinda clunky for a car that feels this futuristic plus I heard they might not fit perfectly around the sliding console area in the second row since that design is so specific.

I have about 600 bucks set aside just for protection stuff right now because I want to do it right the first time. Im also worried about the back of the seats when they are folded down because we go camping a lot and I dont want the carpet getting all snagged up from our gear. Does anyone have a setup they actually love? Like specific brands for the cargo liner that works with the split folding seats or maybe some kick protectors for the back of the front seats since my youngest is a serial kicker? What are the absolute best interior protection accessories you guys have found that dont make the car look like a work truck?

Yo, congrats on the Ocean Blue! Seriously stunning choice. I went through the exact same dilemma because I wanted mine to stay looking like a spaceship, not a construction site. I ended up with a setup that makes me super happy every time I open the door. For the floor, ditch the industrial look. The TuxMat Kia EV9 All-Weather Floor Mats cover way more carpet than WeatherTech and honestly look like they were built into the car. Mud isnt that bad to clean if you just use a wet rag and a soft brush... it doesnt really soak in. Heres my PNW survival kit:

Just saw this and had to jump in! Once had a cheap mat slide under the brake pedal in my old SUV, so safety is a huge deal for me now.
