Which all-weather floor mats fit the Kia EV6 best?

I finally picked up my Kia EV6 GT-Line last week, and I’m absolutely in love with the car. However, I’ve already noticed that the factory carpet mats are a magnet for dirt, especially with the rainy season just around the corner. I want to swap them out for a solid set of all-weather floor mats as soon as possible to protect the interior.

I’ve been doing some digging, and it seems like there are a few different directions I could go. I looked at the official Kia OEM all-weather mats, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about whether they provide enough coverage, particularly in the driver’s footwell area. On the other hand, brands like WeatherTech and TuxMat always come up in conversation, but I’m curious about the actual fitment in the EV6, especially with that unique open floor plan and the floating center console. I’m really looking for something that has a high lip to catch spills and slush, but still looks sleek enough to match the modern aesthetic of the cabin.

Another specific detail I'm concerned about is the rear seat area. Since the EV6 has that completely flat floor, I want a mat that stays securely in place without sliding around when passengers get in and out. I’m also wondering if any of you have found mats that cover the dead pedal area better than others, as that seems to be a spot where salt and grime usually accumulate.

My budget is flexible—I’m willing to spend around $200-$300 if it means getting a premium fit that won't warp over time. I’d love to hear from fellow owners who have tried a few different brands. Which all-weather floor mats have you found actually fit the Kia EV6 best, and are there any specific brands I should definitely avoid?

Yo, congrats on the new EV6! Honestly, after years of trying different liners, I gotta say skip the Kia EV6 OEM All-Weather Floor Mats. They're okay but the dead pedal coverage is basically non-existent, and dirt just slips right under them.

I've been using 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Mats for Kia EV6 for a while and I'm super satisfied. They're way sleeker than the bulky WeatherTech FloorLiner and have this carbon fiber texture that fits the GT-Line vibe perfectly. They actually stay put on the flat rear floor cuz of that "Maxpider" backing... it's kinda like velcro but doesn't ruin the carpet. Plus, they definitely cover that dead pedal way better than the factory ones!

Before I give advice, are you prioritising a hard plastic feel or something more like rubber? Warning: some rigid liners can feel slippery when wet, so I'm curious if texture matters to you... tbh it totally changes the vibe! 👍

In my experience, TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for Kia EV6 are honestly the gold standard for this car. They offer way better coverage than the OEM ones—especially on the dead pedal—and the high-wall design is perfect for catching slush. Plus, they use clips so the rear mat won't slide on ur flat floor. It looks super sleek in my GT-Line!

Honestly, I've had issues with most brands fitting the EV6s floor weirdness... are you looking for a more industrial rubber feel or something more premium-looking like carpet??

Regarding what #6 said about "Building on the earlier suggestion, I've tried many..." - yeah, the EV6 layout is definitely a bit of a challenge for standard liners. If you're looking for something that wont break the bank but still handles the mess, honestly just go with Smartliner Floor Mats. You cant really go wrong there if you want a decent middle ground. Be careful tho, make sure you double check how they anchor. Since our floors are so flat, if the mats dont clip in right, they're gonna slide all over the place when you've got people in the back. I would suggest looking for the ones with the more rubbery texture too. The hard plastic ones can get super slick when they're wet from rain, which is kinda annoying tbh. Had mine for about a year now and they've survived a couple of messy winters without warping much... just gotta be realistic about the fit around that center console area.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I've tried many different liners over the years across various EVs and the EV6 layout definitely requires a specific fit. If you want a more rugged feel that still looks clean, there are two alternatives I've seen work well.

  • BestEvMod Kia EV6 All Weather Floor Mats provide excellent dead pedal coverage. Most mats leave half the dead pedal exposed, but these go almost all the way up, which is huge for keeping salt off the carpet.
  • Lasfit Kia EV6 All Weather Floor Liners are made from TPE, which is basically a hybrid between rubber and plastic. They arent as stiff as the classic WeatherTechs, so they tend to mold to the floor better without warping over time. Since you mentioned the rear floor sliding, my little DIY trick is to add a few small squares of heavy-duty adhesive velcro to the underside of the rear mat edges. Even with the factory clips, that flat floor makes it easy for mats to budge if someone kicks them hard. It keeps everything locked in place. Both of these should stay well within your $200 budget too.
