Hey everyone! I just picked up my 2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line last week, and I am absolutely head over heels for this thing. The interior is stunning, especially with that light grey upholstery, but that’s also exactly why I’m starting to panic. I live in an area where it rains constantly, and with two kids and a dog jumping in and out, those factory carpet mats are going to be trashed within a month if I don't act fast.
I’ve been doing some digging, but since the EV9 is still relatively new, I’m seeing some conflicting info. I looked at the official Kia all-weather mats, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about how much coverage they actually provide, especially around the dead pedal area and the middle row pass-through. I also checked WeatherTech and TuxMat, but I’m worried about the fitment around the sliding second-row seats and whether they interfere with the power rail movement at all.
My main priorities are a 'wall-to-wall' fit that captures all the mud and spills, and a material that doesn't look too 'industrial'—I want to keep that premium EV vibe going if possible. My budget is around $200-$300 for a full set (front, second, and third rows), but I’m willing to splurge a bit more if the quality is truly top-tier. I’m also curious if anyone has found a good solution for the trunk area that still allows you to fold the third-row seats up and down easily without the mat bunching up.
For those of you who have already taken delivery, which floor mats have you found fit the 2024 Kia EV9 best, and are there any specific brands I should absolutely avoid due to poor fitment or sliding issues?

I spent weeks researching technical specs because I was sooo worried about the sliding second-row rails getting gunked up or the mats blocking the power movement.

Soo I just went through this same exact panic with my GT-Line! Honestly, those factory carpets are like magnets for dirt... it's stressful. I ended up trying a few things and i'm super happy with what I settled on.
Basically, I looked at the Kia EV9 All-Weather Floor Mats first since they're OEM, but you're right, the coverage near the dead pedal is kinda meh for the price. I also checked out WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit but they always feel a bit too much like a work truck to me? Like, they're durable but they dont really match the "premium" vibe of the EV9 interior.
I ended up splurging a little bit on the TuxMat Kia EV9 Custom Floor Mats and honestly?? Best decision ever. They literally go wall-to-wall and cover almost every inch of carpet. The material is more like a padded leather look than rubber, so it actually looks high-end. I was worried about the sliding seats too, but they don't interfere with the power rails at all in my experience!
For the back, I got the BestEvMod Kia EV9 Cargo Liner with Seat Back Protectors. It's great because it's split, so you can flip the third row up and down without having to move the mat. Honestly, if you're worried about the budget but still want that premium look, I'd say skip the big names for a sec. I'm a total stickler for safety and fitment—don't want anything sliding under the pedals, you know?
I went with Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2024 Kia EV9 and they've been solid.
