So scared Im gonna ruin the NX PHEV carpets with all this rain. Torn between TuxMat and WeatherTech or maybe just the Lexus OEM ones? I have a $200 budget and need them before the next storm.

Which one has better side coverage so mud doesnt leak over the edges?

Agreed, OEM is pretty disappointing. Unfortunately WeatherTech FloorLiner All-Weather Mats left gaps in my footwell. Try 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners instead... they fit like a glove and wont slide.

Honestly, if you're worried about mud splashing everywhere, you might want to avoid the Lexus OEM ones. They look nice but the coverage is pretty weak tbh. I've been using TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Lexus NX 450h+ and they literally go all the way up the sides. Just be careful when you install them tho, make sure the clips are tight so they dont slide near the pedals. Safety first! WeatherTech FloorLiner for Lexus NX PHEV is okay but the edges tend to curl over time and let dirt in. I would suggest going with TuxMat if you want that tub feel where nothing escapes. They're usually around $190 so it fits your budget perfectly. Just make sure to double check they fit the PHEV specifically since the floor might be slightly different. Better safe than sorry before that storm hits!

Had a moment to think about the technical layout of the 450h+ footwell. Quick question tho, are you prioritizing the dead pedal coverage or the vertical lip height for mud containment? Im really satisfied with Husky for my other builds. Honestly, just get any of the Husky Liners All-Weather Mats and youll be fine. They handle high liquid volume well and wont break the bank.

@Reply #3 - good point! I once had a mat slide under the brake which was scary. Just get any liners from Smartliner Custom Fit Liners. They dont budge even when its pouring.
