I just picked up a new GLE450 and I’m absolutely loving the interior, but with winter approaching and the kids constantly tracking in mud and dirt, I’m getting a bit anxious about those factory carpet mats. I really want to find a set of all-weather floor mats that offer the best protection without looking out of place in a luxury cabin.

I’ve been looking at the official Mercedes-Benz liners, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about how much coverage they actually provide around the footwell edges. I’ve also looked into WeatherTech and TuxMat, but I’m worried about the fitment—specifically if they slide around or if the 'dead pedal' area is fully covered. Since the GLE450 has such specific floor dimensions, I want to make sure whatever I buy snaps into the factory retention posts perfectly. I’m looking for something that catches spills but is still easy to spray down at the car wash.

For those of you who have had your GLE for a while, which brand has given you the best edge-to-edge fit, and do they stay looking premium over time? Looking for the best balance of durability and aesthetics!

Sooo, I was in your exact shoes when I got my GLE450. Ngl, I was super cautious about ruining that gorgeous interior, especially with the kids. I first tried the MB OEM ones, but the coverage was kinda weak around the edges. After doing way too much research, I settled on TuxMat Floor Mats for Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class V167 and honestly, they're the BEST fit I've seen.

They basically go edge-to-edge and literally tuck under the plastic trim so they can't slide. They cover the entire dead pedal too, which was a huge deal for me. They've stayed looking really premium and haven't warped at all. My only tip? Make sure you clip them in properly to the factory posts—it's a tight fit but totally worth it for the safety.

TL;DR: Skip the others and get TuxMat Custom Car Mats for GLE450 for the best coverage and premium look.

Ok so, before I give advice on the cheaper routes, can you clarify if you've got the 5-seater or the 7-seater config? The floor dimensions change slightly in the back and I don't want you wasting cash. Honestly, I had issues with the expensive brands before... they just didn't stay flush. If you want to save some serious money, I'm currently looking at the SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats for 2020-2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE which are usually under $160 for the whole set. They're way more budget-friendly than the others mentioned, but I gotta know your seating layout first! lol

Quick question—are you looking for something with a more textured, rubberized grip, or do you prefer that slicker, high-walled plastic feel? I've been comparing the technical specs of the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series All-Weather Floor Mats against others, and they basically nail the premium look while hitting all the retention posts perfectly. Also, what's your budget looking like? Just wanna make sure I suggest the best value for ur GLE!
