Top rated off-road accessories for a Nissan Frontier build?

Ive been wheeling for like ten years mostly in Toyotas but I just picked up a 2023 Frontier Pro-4X because the deal was too good to pass up. I thought I knew the drill but man finding solid skids and sliders that actually fit the new frame geometry is trickier than I expected. Most of the stuff Im seeing online has mixed reviews about the powder coating holding up in the desert heat out here in AZ. Ive got about 4k to drop right now before a trip to Moab in October. What are the actual top rated pieces of gear you guys are running that wont rattle apart? Looking specifically for armor and maybe a rack...

Totally agree on going aluminum for skids, but sliders need that DOM strength! Love White Knuckle Off Road Rock Sliders 0.120 DOM Steel for the Frontier because the mounting plates are over-engineered in a good way. Quick tip: get the Prinsu Roof Rack Nissan Frontier 2022+ Cab Rack too. The 6061 aluminum crossbars are amazing for weight and the wind deflector actually works for once!

Ive tried many setups over the years and honestly, AZ heat destroys powder coat fast. In my experience, grabbing Hefty Fabworks 2022+ Nissan Frontier Full Skid Plate Set Aluminum is the play since it wont rust when it scrapes. I saved a lot of cash by ordering their sliders raw and spraying them myself... way easier to touch up after Moab. That leaves plenty of your 4k for gear and gas.

To add to the point above: ygeihlnyll is totally right about the weight. Dont sleep on your payload capacity or you'll be sagging before you even hit the trail. In my experience, you can definitely get the protection you need without nuking your 4k budget before Moab.
