Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Ram 1500 TRX and I’m itching to get it out on some desert trails. It’s an absolute beast stock, but I want to make sure I’m fully prepared before hitting the more technical sections. I'm specifically looking for high-quality rock sliders that won't kill my ground clearance and some solid bed mounting options for a full-size spare and recovery gear. I’ve been looking at different chase racks, but it’s getting a bit overwhelming with all the brands available. I want to keep the performance high without adding too much unnecessary weight. What are your go-to mods or 'must-haves' for serious off-roading in a TRX?

Yo, after years off-roading, I'd suggest:
- ADD Offroad Stealth Fighter Rock Sliders for Ram TRX
- Mopar TRX Bed-Mounted Spare Tire Carrier
Better clearance cuz they're tucked high!

Seconding the recommendation above!! Those ADD sliders are legit, but if you're hitting technical rocks, you gotta check out the White Knuckle Off Road Rock Sliders for Ram TRX. They're basically bombproof and offer way better frame protection than most. I've used 'em on a few desert runs and the clearance is actually surprisingly good for how beefy they are.
For the bed, honestly, skip the heavy chase racks if you wanna keep the performance high and the weight down. I'd suggest:
- SDHQ Built In-Bed Tire Mount for Ram TRX to keep that full-size spare low and centered.
- BuiltRight Industries Bedside Rack Systems for Ram 1500 TRX for mounting your shovels and recovery boards.
Keeping that center of gravity low is key when you're ripping through the desert... you dont want a top-heavy beast when you're hitting whoops! Gl with the build man, youre gonna love it! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly the one I got saved me a ton and your gonna love how a lighter bed mount handles those technical desert sections like a beast its actually amazing gl!
