Just took delivery of my REV last night and man, the interior is gorgeous but I am honestly terrified of scuffing it up already. I have been driving Ram trucks since the Gen 4 days so I thought I knew exactly what to buy, but looking at this thing... the floor layout is slightly different because of the battery pack and that totally flat floor in the back, plus the dash has that extra passenger screen I am not used to dealing with.
My logic was that most of the 2025 gas 1500 parts would carry over but then I started second guessing the center console dimensions. I do a lot of site inspections down here in the humidity and mud in Orlando so I need heavy duty mats ASAP. I checked the usual suspects like WeatherTech and Husky but their sites are kinda vague on the REV-specific fitment since it is so new. Does anyone know if the standard 2025 crew cab floor mats actually fit the EV version without bunching up near the battery hump or the pedals? I am worried the mounting points might have shifted or something subtle changed.
I also really need to find a way to organize that massive center console. It is like a deep abyss. I saw those drop-in trays for the gas models but again, no clue if the internal USB-C ports moved or if the sliding mechanism is different for the REV. Budget isnt a huge deal, I have about $1,200 set aside for the initial kit-out, but I need this stuff by next week before I have to haul a bunch of muddy gear.
Here is what I am hunting for right now:
I am really stressing because I have a big client walkthrough on a dusty site next Wednesday and I dont want to ruin the trim. If you guys have found anything that actually fits the EV specific cabin please let me know. I was looking at the Mopar catalog but it seems half-baked for the REV stuff right now and everything is on backorder...
I spent some time checking the floor pan specs and the battery hump definitely changes the geometry compared to the gas trucks. I'm really satisfied with the Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats for Ram 1500 REV. I compared them to the Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats and the Mopar set has much tighter tolerances around the battery housing. Husky covers the dead pedal better tho if you're dealing with lots of mud. For the screens, the Vancooler Tempered Glass Screen Protector for 14.5-inch Ram Screen works well and doesnt mess with the touch response even in high humidity. To stop gear sliding on the flat rear floor, get the Du-Ha Under Seat Storage Case for Ram Crew Cab. It uses heavy duty straps to stay anchored since there's no floor hump to keep it in place. I also use the Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer for Ram 1500 which fits the REV dimensions and doesnt block the USB-C ports. No complaints with the fitment on these so far... they've been solid.
I remember the first time I tried to retrofit near-miss parts on a new platform, it was a total headache that ended up scratching the plastic trim. You really have to be careful with the REV because even though the shell looks the same, the floor pan geometry shifted for the battery module cooling lines. I would suggest you dont trust the standard 2025 gas mats just yet. I tried a set of generic ones once and the dead pedal coverage was non-existent, leaving the carpet totally exposed to mud. If you need something right now, make sure to look at the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP 2025 Ram 1500 Crew Cab but definitely double-check the return policy because that rear flat floor is actually wider than the ICE version. For those screens, you might want to consider a matte finish. I found that the 14-inch display reflects basically everything in the cab. I would suggest the Spigen Glas.tR Slim Matte Screen Protector for 14.5-inch RAM Screen because it handles the glare way better than the glossy film. As for the abyss of a console, I noticed the USB-C ports on the REV are high-output and sometimes run a bit warmer than older trucks, so be careful not to get a tray that blocks airflow. I put the Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer Tray for Ram 1500 in mine and it leaves just enough gap for the wireless charger to breathe. Just make sure you dont force the sliding mechanism if it feels tight... the REV trim is more sensitive than the old Gen 4s.
