Which off-road accessories are essential for the Ram 1500 TRX?

Congrats on the TRX, that thing is a beast. Moab is a different world when youre hauling that much weight and width tho. Those factory rails are basically just steps, they wont protect the rockers if you pivot on a rock.

• Rock Sliders: Look into Addictive Desert Designs Rock Slider Side Steps or similar heavy duty frame-mounted ones. Theyll save you thousands in body work because the pinch welds just cant support the TRX weight.
• Air Compressor: Youll definitely need to air down for traction on the slickrock. Filling those 35s back up with a cheap portable pump takes all day... I would grab the ARB Onboard Twin High Performance 12V Air Compressor and a bracket to mount it under the hood.
• Spare Tire: If you get a flat, crawling under that heavy truck to get the spare out of the factory location is sketchy in the sand. Something like the Mopar TRX Bed Mounted Spare Tire Carrier keeps it accessible and looks solid. The TRX can handle a lot more than people think, just gotta protect the vulnerable bits first. Youll have a blast out there.
