I recently picked up a 2023 Ram 1500 TRX, and while the stock 702 hp is incredible, I’m already looking to squeeze out a bit more performance and sharpen the handling. I’m specifically interested in bolt-on mods that won't completely void my warranty right away. I’ve been looking into high-flow intake systems and maybe a pulse-width modulation (PWM) tuner, but I’m curious what actually delivers the best bang for your buck. I’m also considering a leveling kit to improve the stance without ruining the Bilstein e2 suspension feel. For those of you who have modded yours, what are the must-have performance accessories you'd recommend starting with?

Sooo I basically just did this! Honestly, the S&B Filters Cold Air Intake for 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX is way better value than a tuner if you wanna keep your warranty safe. It sounds SICK and actually feels more responsive, plus it's like half the price of a fancy PWM setup. gl!
tbh i was kinda disappointed with my first few mods cuz i expected a huge jump but for the money, you gotta look at the J&L OSC Oil Separator 3.0 first. it doesn't add hp but these engines get so much oil blow-by that it's basically essential for long-term performance... plus it won't mess with ur warranty. if u want more sound and a tiny bit of pep without breaking the bank, maybe check out the Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust System for Ram TRX? it's pricey but honestly sounds way better than just a intake alone.
Sooo I’m pretty new to the TRX world myself, but I’ve been obsessing over the forums lately lol. For your situation, I would suggest looking into the Pulsar LT for 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX if you want that PWM tuner feel without the risk of flashing the ECU. It basically just plugs in and lets you adjust throttle response and top speed limiters, which is cool cuz it doesnt leave a trace if you need to take it in for service.
I’m also super cautious about the suspension cuz those Bilsteins are EXPENSIVE to mess up!! If you want that level look, maybe check out the ReadyLIFT 2.0 Inch Leveling Kit for Ram 1500 TRX. Its like $250-$300 and honestly, it keeps the ride quality pretty close to stock. Just be careful with the install... I've heard some guys say it can be a bit tricky if you havent done it before. Anyway, hope that helps you out! 👍
