What are the must-have interior accessories for the Subaru WRX?

For your situation, i'd say focus on protection cuz i've had issues with how fragile the interior feels. honestly, i was disappointed that my dash scratched so fast... it's not as good as expected for the price. i'm still kinda new to this, but i've learned the hard way about keeping things mint. Here is what I recommend:
* Vantrue N4 Pro 3 Channel Dash Cam - u need this for safety, but unfortunately, wiring it is tricky so maybe consult a pro so u dont mess up the airbags.
* ScreenPro Subaru WRX 11.6-inch Screen Protector - the screen is basically a fingerprint magnet and scratches way too easily.
* Subaru OEM Center Console Armrest Extension - the base one is way too low for daily driving. idk but i'd be careful with any mods that might mess with ur electronics. gl with the new ride! 👍

Just sharing my experience: i grabbed a SubieBros Fuse Box Coin Holder for $15 cuz the stock door is flimsy. in my experience, it's the best cheap storage mod i've found yet...

Seconding the recommendation above! Tbh, the WRX interior uses soft plastics that scratch easily, so protection is vital for resale value. Since youre looking at mats, compare TuxMat Floor Mats vs WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit. - TuxMat Floor Mats: 3-layer design helps dampen road noise.
- WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit: High-density tri-extruded material but gets slippery. I'd suggest TuxMat cuz the cabin is lowkey loud. Maybe check those out? Just be careful with the clips!

Welcome to the fam. Stumbled upon this and figured id weigh in. I have had my WRX for about five years and i am really satisfied with how the interior has held up with the right mods. Since you mentioned knobs, ive gone through a couple:

• Billetworkz Weighted Shift Knob 450g: This is the one i kept. The weight makes gear changes feel really mechanical and deliberate, totally fixes that notchiness.
• GrimmSpeed Weighted Shift Knob Stainless Steel: This one is great too, but the shape is a bit more tall which might not be everyones cup of tea. For utility, id skip the generic stuff and look at the Course Motorsports Direct Fit Phone Mount Subaru WRX. It looks factory and doesnt wiggle at all. I usually spend way too much time on the NASIOC forums or Subimods looking at what other guys are running... tons of photos there to help you decide. Usually better than just guessing what fits.
